Hello folks. I bought a 2022 maverick awd with a 2" lift. I am experiencing a heavy clunk in the front end. Has anyone else had this issue.

What TJ2023 said. A good chance it won't be covered under warranty (especially since it sounds like you bought the vehicle second hand.
If you replace the axles and keep the lift it will happen again.
I hate to say it, but you probably got taken advantage of. The seller likely knew the lift kit would cause issues and that it would not be covered under warranty. Your best bet would be to return it to stock form. Sorry this happened to you.![]()
Ah. That changes things. Any MTC regular knows what happens when you put lift kits in Mavs, but apparently Ford and the dealership do not.Hello. Ford installed the lift, and I bought the truck from a dealership. The dealership is paying for Ford to find the problem. I would drop the truck to stock , just to get rid of the clunk
I may be the exception but am at 4 1/2” custom lift on a 2023 tremor ,32” mud terrains , tuner with open exhaust and regularly do front wheel drifts on launches , have over 11k miles since the mods and regularly beat it off road .Ah. That changes things. Any MTC regular knows what happens when you put lift kits in Mavs, but apparently Ford and the dealership do not.
I'd probably take it back to stock and avoid any future issues, unless they can guarantee a fix. Best of luck.

Hello Joe. Ford had a look at the truck and lift. They said everything looked good. The noise is still there. The axles are fine. Is it possible that the tires are too heavy for the suspension. Ironman 245/ 70R17.Result.
