Yes, It's probably the CV axles.
CV issues don't "Clunk" they tick and grind. what lift are you running on the mav Quartet?

I am willing to bet it's the rough country strut lift.....MIRITE? ha ha.

Hello folks. I think I have figured out what the issue is. When the lift was done on the stock struts. So what has happened is that the springs have been stiffened to the point of no give. So I may have to have the rough country shock in, so there is actually some give. Any thoughts on this.

I have a similar clunk with the rough country spring kit, still trying to determine what the noise is, doesn't sound like a CV axle noise to me from googling what it could sound like, it sounds like when the truck rebounds off a bump there is some play somewhere and the noise is when the truck is coming back down. I'm not sure, but it is annoying.

Hello folks. I finally found out what the noise was. When the blocks were installed on the shock assembly they were not lined up correctly so when I would got over even the slightest bump the block would bang against the body of the truck inside the shock tower compartment. I am so glad I got a shock guy to figure it out. Problem solved.

Glad you got it fixed. I knew it wasn't axles. They don't clunk, the tick and grind when leaving the earth.

We are chomping at the bit to get some sort of mav for us. Had the Tremor out, but damn the payments for it are bonkers up here. 418 bi weekly for 7 years...That's more than my mortgage payment atm. Used FX4 it is! ha ha.
