I wonder if the updates did something to drain my battery. Never had a problem before. Never had deep sleep issues either. This morning battery was completely drained. Could not even open door with remote. Had to use the mechanical key to get in.

I just had 5 recalls done on my '23 XLT hybrid (built 1 day before April Fool's). These were 23S27, 24S27, 24C01, 23C41, and 23E09. These updates reset my settings to factory defaults and appeared to have done the same to my TPMS. I re-paired it to fix but some members tell me I just needed more patience.
I had one deep sleep event months ago and started putting a charger on it (underhood connection) when not driven for 5 or more days. I also had a charger on it before & during the update just to be sure, and have had no problems "so far" (5 days). It seems to me that IF the BMS was reset AND your 12V battery was not at full charge, the system might not have given your battery as much juice is it should have received after the update.
Running any flooded lead-acid battery totally flat always seems to do "some" damage, so your battery may never be the same. You can always try charging it up to full, but you need at least a 3 or 5-amp unit because the parasitic loads are so high in modern cars. I have an older Noco G3500 and the status LEDs tell me it can never quite get in to "float" mode due to the ongoing loads.
Too many unknowns in these rolling computer networks. No useful data on concept of operations from Ford. Too frustrating. Our world is dumbing us down...

I'm at the dealer now 22 hybrid xlt 56000 miles with dead 12volt battery was replaced and now it's in dark mode they jumped battery just to drive back into shop to do a diagnostic test on it. Ford needs to be aware that hybrids are having charging issues.

My bet is they will just swap the battery and never really address why an AGM battery would die in just 2 years.
They just swapped mine. And moved on with life

I wouldn't be surprised if there is a scan tool function to allow battery reset immediately instead of 9 hrs of learning required.
But then it would be required to make sure battery is at max charge.

Both those items are probably NOT being done by intro-level tech assigned to battery replacements.

I'd wager (someone else's money of course) that a lot of those issues is due to exactly that, or forgetting to reset the BMS anyway.

I charged up my own to 100% according to trickle-charger, did the BMS reset & relearn overnight, and despite initial 75-80% SOC readout from BMS - it's back to 65% most of the time. I'll need to measure to see if that's accurate % though, it may have lost it again.

They kept it said they will let me know when it's fixed my guess is there going to have to replace the fuse box or wiring harness. I seen a video about it.

Page 319 of the 2023 Owner's Manual gives this arcane procedure to reset the BMS:
Battery Sensor Reset
When you install a new battery, reset the battery sensor with the following procedure. Complete Steps 2 and 3 within 10 seconds.
1. Switch the ignition on, and leave the engine off.
2. Flash the high beam headlamps 5X, ending with the high beams off.
3. Press and release the brake pedal 3X.
The battery warning lamp flashes 3X to confirm that the reset was successful.
It also states
After battery replacement, or in some cases after charging the battery with an external charger, the battery management system requires eight hours of vehicle sleep time to relearn the battery state of charge. During this time, your vehicle must remain fully locked with the ignition switched off.

8 hrs, not 9 then.
Of course once you get past an hour for some process just call it overnight.

But there is a scan tool function to do Reset too - even Forscan Lite on android has it in the list of processes. I'm just wondering if it includes a quick relearn in it's process instead of 8 hrs.

Still - doesn't matter if owner does a detailed process or dealer does tool process - if battery not topped off and a relearn is somehow done, truck is doing wrong amount of charging, and allowing too low a state possibly killing a battery sooner than it needs to be, and start with a cheap battery, even worse.
