Just wanted to let everyone know that the recalls that were supposedly updated to no longer cause trucks to go into limp mode are indeed still causing trucks to go into limp mode. I posted here a few weeks ago about being hesitant to let my dealer do all of the recalls because of all of the trucks having issues after them. Everyone here assured me Ford had fixed the issue with those updates so I went ahead and did them.

Lo and behold a few weeks later it happened to me. Never happened before getting these software recalls done. Now I'm without a truck once again and cannot get to work. Again. If I had any money saved up to get another vehicle after selling this one it would be gone to Carmax next week. I'm done with Ford.

Otherwise, you like the truck?

Sorry this happened to you. Which recalls did Ford perform?

Love it other than the constant struggle with a dead 12v battery and now this!
I have reluctantly done all of the recalls, fortunately, no issues.

I also had the dead battery issue. Installed H-5 AGM and all has been good.

Don't get frustrated, things happen. I'm sure your dealer will be more than happy to return and verify recall was done properly.

I got the dreaded check engine light (CEL) last Saturday after having the recalls done about three weeks ago. I documented the updates in the post here: Hit by the Maverick Curse.

I have an appointment on 7/2, and they said it should take about an hour if it relates to the Customer Satisfaction Program (CSP) #23P18.

I have had no problems with my MY24 Hybrid and don't plan on any recall updates anytime soon. If it taint broke, no need to fix it.

Sorry to hear this is happening. Had all applicable recalls performed on mine and have not had a single issue.

The question that should be getting asked is whether or not your vehicle has another issue which is not something that these recalls are designed to address. I believe this could always be a possibility. Of course, therein lies another matter. If there is an issue, is it an issue that the average tech is going to be able to verify and diagnose.

Good luck!

I have also had no recall issues. Only issue I had was Ford's latest FordPass app update didn't play nice with the last Sync version and I was forced to update it manually.
