Dealer said "Yes" to the 5 I need. A mobile tech is scheduled to visit me in 2 days to install the patches for 5 recalls: 23S27 engine fire, 24S27 rear marker lamps, 24C01 instrument illumination, 23C41 rear turn signals, and 23E09 emissions at WOT. Fingers crossed...

Last Monday I think I had 3 done that was needed by mobile guy. I am caught up I think. This week have had no problems since they were done on my 22 XLT hybrid.

Ecoboost here . running and operating fine at the moment . concerned because dealer couldn't even get oil change right . lost bolt off skid plate and oil not up to full line ( down about a pint ) . I had to correct both . unfortunately couldn't check at dealership because of down pour at time and they didn't park it under cover . checked immediately at home in garage at home. Not feeling confident in dealer .

I took delivery of a ‘24 hybrid a week ago. I assumed all recall issues were dealt with up to this date. But is there a way to check, aside from taking the dealers word on it? Would an OBD scanner tell me?

Sadly 5 quarts is what they say you get with an oil change and puts it in the hash marks = good oil level.

I don't agree. but it is the BS some of these shops claim.

A famous politician once said "Trust, but verify" I agree with you, like to double check any work on my rigs.

You can check the recall status by your VIN: Recall check by VIN.

I had three done by Mobil service. They did all three on the same trip but they did them one at a time. The tech did use his ATT puck to download each update before installing it. I had two that had the updates and tech downloaded each update for each truck even the same update. He did make comment that they were both updating some of the same modules. It must be your dealer or my dealer is misinformed about something?

I took mine in last week for the 23C41 and 24S27 updates. The service tech told me that one update actually took care of all the recalls. It 'superseded' the earlier ones or something like that.

No issues with driveability since the update, but for some reason, my USB playlists are no longer working. Can't be sure if there is any relation or not. I wouldn't think a BCM update would affect ACM functions, but it just won't read my playlists anymore.
