Here is a quick video of how easy it is to flash a tune onto my 24 maverick.
Just got my e30 tune. It’s a very impressive gain. Especially when it comes to passing. Just roll into the throttle and it goes.

And might I add safe. I was over 120 for about an hour on a quick trip through Mexico.

How's the throttle respond any lag? I hate the lag so much thinking getting the tune as will.

How's the throttle respond any lag? I hate the lag so much thinking getting the tune as will.
I hated the lag and "bogginess" of the throttle as well. My Livernois tune greatly improved the responsiveness of the throttle. I'd considered a throttle controller before the tune but feel that it isn't needed now.

Absolutely zero lag. Cool part is I can now hear the turbo.

I’ll try and get some rolling pulls on film this week. Not full throttle just roll into it and show how much under the curve power it picked up. It pulls incredibly hard

To be fair they have down a lot of stuff for me so they know I’m ok pushing. Things a bit hard. It’s a beta tune. Just seeing what I can push outta it stock turbo.
But yes I love it says that

the lag I noticed on my stock truck is actually weird transmission behavior, not turbo lag. I don't know enough about the aisin 8F35 to say exactly what that is, but it feels like a clutch moreso than torque converter when tipping in to the accelerator basically anytime other than WOT from a stop.

the most impactful thing to do about that is make sure you buy a tuning device that changes the TCM settings. livernois and cobb both do that, and cobb has 3 off the shelf TCM tunes - stock, OEM+, and sport.

you get some lugging on the stock ecoboost when it's in a high gear at low speed & engine rpm, and the TC is locked. tcm tunes fix that, too.

If you want to switch between two pump gas tunes (say, a 93 performance and an 87 tow/eco) do you have to do this reload process with the MyCal every time to switch back and forth? Or is there also some secret handshake of button-presses in the truck itself that can flip between tunes?
