One week in and I'm trying to sort out a couple of things with the radio.
I'd like to have at least ten preset FM stations as I do on another car. How is this possible? I don't listen to AM and not crazy about Sirius.
I'm familiar with the volume control on the steering wheel but isn't there a control apart from the controls on the screen to change stations?
My other car has these capabilities and wondering where this is on the Maverick?
Thanks!

I may be wrong here, if so others can correct me. I am fairly certain there are no buttons on the steering wheel to change the radio stations. I think that is odd also as every car I have owned (newer) that have steering wheel audio volume on the wheel, also had a way to at least channel up and down on another button. On Maverick have to stab at the silly screen, taking my eyes off the road. May as well be texting, not a safe design FORD!

I don't know if it's possible for only FM stations (I assume it is), but you can change the amount of preset screens (up to 6) in the radio settings.

You can have up to six “pages” of presets of six stations each (for a max of 36 presets). These can be any combination of AM, FM, or SXM (if equipped). You can set the number of “pages” in settings if you are not using that many.

The forward/back buttons on the steering wheel will move through your presets. The forward/back buttons on the dash (under the touchscreen) will “seek” to the next radio station with a signal (or will switch to the next SXM channel).

I don't know if it's possible for only FM stations (I assume it is), but you can change the amount of preset screens (up to 6) in the radio settings.

I READ the owners manual and find it leaves a LOT to be desired. I did not know there were up to 6 pages of remembered stations. I found the setting to have the driver seat as the center, and the alternate even spreading of sound, and all the rest, but the screen controls are about as clear as a chunk of coal. "Touch here and things will happen" is about the level of detail. Guess I will go and read it again.

Hey Chad, thanks! I do read all the manuals when I get a new car and I specifically looked at the radio section. But, I'll be damned but I did not see that! That will help me out a lot. Guess I will just have to lay off the Elijah Craig single batch. Maybe switch to the Blantons or Russell Reserve bourbon? Haha.

I hate that the steering wheel controls have the volume on the left. Where as every car truck I've owned since 2000, has had them on the right side controls. Rant over.

I don’t like how the volume and previous/next are on opposite sides. All my previous cars have had them together.

If you hold the steering wheel button down it might change the station instead or preset skip...I can't remember though. I listen to pandora radio exclusively.

Thanks for the responses. After fiddling around I found the buttons to change the stations and also the extra pre sets. I'm still frustrated when I go to change stations because I have to go through AM FM and XM. I wonder if there's a dedicated screen for each separate one? I'd like to scroll through just my FM settings without going through all of the others. Any thoughts?
