USB drive settings on radio

I use the usb to play mp3 stories. Sometimes it takes longer to find the usb stick and times out. When that happens, it goes back to the radio or siriusXM. So, I give it a few seconds, press devices, and the usb drive is found, and it picks back up exactly where it was in the mp3 story.

Mine keeps going back to the beginning of the list on my clipjam even though I left it plugged in. I'll try some of the tips in this post and see if it works.
