Ill be taking delivery of a 24 maverick in terrain with the 2.0 at the end of this month.I currently have a 15 focus ST with a big turbo tuned by alan at edgeautosport.I definitely will be getting the maverick tuned and am seeing what everyone is using?Seems panda is the go to tuner.Ill be using the cobb interface as well.What are these trucks making stock with a tune?I really want to keep it stock engine wise just probably needs a little pick me up with a tune. Ill definitely be adding a bigger turbo in the future and all the supporting mods.Im a ford mechanic and I dont see many problems with the maverick so thats why im getting one.

I think more people are tuned by Livernois than anyone else.
But you have a magnitude of good tuners for this version of the 2.0.

Lots of good choices. I went with Livernois based on past experience with them. Plus the mycal handheld is vastly superior hardware to the Cobb unit.
I’m currently just tuned. Everything I have is tuned and built. Except the maverick. I’m planing to just see what I can get with a downpipe and tune this fall.

I’m very curious what a tune plus a down pipe is gonna net.
As you know in the ST RS world the downpipe is the only choke point.
But I’ve also seen them gain nothing. I was hoping to do a tune and downpipe and call it a day with a very handy and super reliable work truck.

Have a livernois tuner and fast maverick off-road downpipe and afe rebel exhaust , runs good , haven’t hit the dyno yet.no improvement on mileage but I’m on32” tires , but response is good and will spin tires on a good launch( just fronts for a second)

The intercooler will always be the chokepoint.

The intercooler will always be the chokepoint.

That’s not actually factual. Yet many believe it is. I’m not sure if the maverick is but on my previous ecoboosts it has never been.
First they add zero hp. I have never gotten one with back to back dynos to show anything but standard deviation from runs. Intercoolers are mainly to help maintain your power levels longer. As heat soak sets in timing and boost are pulled. Now I’ve always used direct port meth injection instead. Mainly cause I got the added Octane and no intercooler will give you below ambient ait like pure meth with. Heck my focus rs is over 500whp on the stock intercooler. Even though everyone said that was a choke point also.
Not saying I wouldn’t use one cause it would be very beneficial for towing. My last 150 has one now because I decided to go e85 and intercooler instead of meth.

I'm running a 5 Star Tuning 93 performance tune on an SCT with no bolt ons (except new wheels, I guess, on the XL) with AWD and 4k Tow. I'd say this specific tune gets you from about a 6.3ish 0-60 from the dig down to about a 5.7, the biggest improvements are definitely to the shifting though. I want to be optimistic and say I'm getting somewhere between 20-30 more hp at the engine, but as I have no dyno my evidence is "my buddy in his stock WRX can beat me pretty solidly" to "my buddy in his stock WRX is pretty much right beside me" in the 0-60. Apparently the fuel system is also good for E30 with pretty significant (50+ hp) gains.

I just got my e30 tune “hot” today to push it a bit more.
Can’t wait to get this trailer off and see what it all about.
