Interesting Letter From My Dealer

I've had my 2024 Maverick Hybrid for a wopping 15 days now. Just received this letter from my dealer:

We often receive requests for pre-owned vehicle models similar to yours. According to our records, it appears you have approximately 0 payments remaining on your 2024 Ford Maverick and are paying approximately $0.

Being able to acquire vehicles that we have either sold, serviced or both that we can add to our Pre-Owned inventory is the best possible scenario. In a search of our customer records I identified your car as a perfect match for us. As compensation to you, if we could upgrade you to a newer Ford Maverick keeping your payments about the same, would you consider letting us purchase your car?

Pretty much LMAO! Could be just an auto generated form letter. But I'm wanting to call that salesman (not mine), and just exactly what 'newer' Maverick they have to offer?

I got a letter earlier this year from my dealer, they had someone looking for a truck exactly like mine and they’d give me a $ 1,000 more then trade offer. I just laughed it off.

If their records show you are paying 0 and have zero payments left then tell them you are very interested in about the same payments.

LOL, Yeah, I paid cash. But with over $3,500 taxes & fees, no way I could come out ahead. But considering calling to see what they were thinking.

Maybe you could get one with a hitch or something else desired and get $5k more than you paid as trade in?
