Hey folks, I just talked to dealer and according to them Ford is send a letter to those who have Maverick orders. Has anyone else heard this?

I picked up my truck a month ago, order was placed 8 months before that. I never received any communication of any kind from Ford Motor Company directly.

What kind of letter? A cease and desist. Deal with it, sorry for your loss? I doubt it is anything positive

Same boat. Communication is abysmal. Except I still don't have mine and not sure when it will be built. In production for 2 weeks now.

I got an email from Ford suggesting I remove constraint items from my order. No physical letter.

I've been getting a weekly email from Ford but unfortunately it says my build week is pushed back another week again.

The only information I have gotten was me contacting them. lol If I do receive something I will post it, but who knows if it is even true or not.

The last line in the above posted email says to “expect another update in June,” so maybe that is what your dealer is referring to??

Doesn't sound like that would be true. It's beyond any reasonable thinking to send out an actual letter in the mail when an email would serve the same purpose without the postage fees and potential to be lost during delivery.

I could be wrong, but that's just common sense thinking which isn't a very common thing.

Yes. I received an order confirmation e-mail way back in Sept 21 after placing my order.
Received another about 3 months ago noting build delays. Another a few weeks later and finally the good news build scheduling e-mail last friday.
