Stuff You Found in Your Maverick at Delivery

20 miles on my hybrid Maverick when I took delivery. Drove off the lot to the sound of something rolling back and forth. Got home and found this in the door pocket, passenger rear door. Someone drove 20 miles and didn't bother to look? And have to wonder where it came from or should have been installed?

I found a Tecate beer bottle cap under the hood on the right fender liner. My friend said that the nice Mexican workers were probably celebrating building the best Maverick ever!

No photo, but I found a brand new straight edge razor blade under my front passenger seat.

I found an 8.5 by 11 inch sheet of paper inside my suspension spring/coil....

happens with any car... Years ago, my father was complaining to the Ford dealership about something making noises off and on in the drivers door. Dealer never heard. Eventually they pulled the door panel only to find a full set of keys for a car (and they did not fit his car). lol

Must be the adrenaline rush for you while you took the delivery while not feeling the affect on your wallet until you left the dealership and the adrenaline wore off.

Being how the situation was on Maverick availabilty, at the time.. (December 2022)
And how the price points have gone up, since then. I don't feel that much pain...
It's been 534 days and two minor recalls... And I have been Very Luck with my purchase..
