Glad that you're all ok. This one's always out there!

Thanks, in retrospect I’m thankful it wasn’t worse. It very well could’ve been if I wasn’t able to slow down which I think is why the damage isn’t worse than it is. I can still drive it and after searching online Ford does seem to have the tremor specific exterior parts readily available.

Yesterday unloading a Cat 336 at my place. Having to unload it on the road blocking one lane. One car refuses to stop even after being signaled to do so and almost forces the oncoming car from the other lane into a ditch. We get the middle finger for our efforts so always good to know we were # 1 in their book.

Yes, stupid inconsiderate drivers are getting worse. We are living in the Age of Rage.
wow, that's dangerous. did anyone get the plate #?

This literally just happened today after work. The other driver was taking a left as I was turning right onto the same street at a 4 way traffic light. Literally just got this truck exactly 2 months ago. Drove my last vehicle for over 8 years never been in an accident with it. I get this truck and just my luck I get in an accident; go figure. Luckily airbags didn’t go off and I can still drive it. Something tells me the bumper and any other Tremor specific replacement parts are going to be hard to find. This kills me 😭🤦🏻‍♂️

We had a bent beak event as well. Some nut job changed lanes at a high rate of speed into my wife's 2022 XLT. it was a $7500 fix. Cost us $250. Our dealer took it right in and had it back to us in less that 3 weeks. Looks like new.

Looks to be very similar damage as my truck. Nice to get a general idea of how much the estimate will be. Hopefully I’ll find out tomorrow. After the repair does it look 100 percent or does anything look off? I’ve never gotten body damage repaired on a vehicle before trying to keep my expectations in check.

that sucks. I feel the pain. I got rear ended this Monday by an uninsured individual. Luckily, I have coverage for that, and he's so far agreeing to pay that deductible, which is more generous than making him pay the estimate to replace the bumper and tailgate. luckily, no other issues.

Not how it works. He'll likely end up paying for the whole repair in the end, insurance will sue him.

Are drivers actually getting worse? Or is it that Im just so biased for my love for the Maverick that my heart breaks a little more every time I see one of these posts?
Drivers are getting worse. We are getting more of them. Vehicles are getting larger, harder to drive, and have terribly huge blind spots at every viewing angle.

U.S. standards for issuing and maintaining a driver's license is laughable.

I know I am crazy but if that happened to my Lariat I would get it fixed and then trade it in. Stupid thing financially but I can't stand to drive a wrecked truck.

rightly so - he probably has not been paying insurance for a long time so he's been 'saving'$ for years and now it's time for him to pony up. Maybe he'll realize that insurance is something that he should be purchasing in the future.

It looks good as new. Fit and finish perfect. I'm just itching to get some wax on her. But, I need to wait.

Ouch. I feel for you. I waited 16 months to get my 2023 XLT hybrid, and I would be beyond upset to only have it for 2 months and then have someone mangle it with a preventable accident like you've been involved in. Hope they can find your parts quickly.

He needs to NOT SIGN A RELEASE JUST TO GET THE DEDUCTABLE. He may, in doing so release the drivers insurance company or driver from suit to reclaim losses. Needs to have his insurance company recover their loss as well as his deductible.

appreciate the insight. I'm admittedly ignorant on the process outside the fact that I'm glad I have coverage for uninsured drivers.
