While driving home today, I noticed heavier than normal traffic, especially for mothers day. I slow crawled over two hills and then I could see the problem, as people are trying to turn around or squeeze by this old Chevy P30 motor home. It straddling across both lanes diagonally and no one was stopping to help.

Mind you, turning around adds more time to get home for mothers day. So, I get up to the ole behemoth and told everyone to get it, and put it in neutral 😐.

No one listened, when they saw me hook up to the front-end. Everyone had the πŸ’‘ turn on. I gave it hell, and we'll freed up the road way. Sorry no action shots while in the roadway the driver were crazy.

But, chalk one more up for the Maverick, the people in thier yards were all saying hahaha πŸ˜† that won't move that's ole thing it's too heavy. I said four wheel locked πŸ”’, rear end locked πŸ”’ watch πŸ‘€ this.

The first to pulls weren't great only got half a lane out of it, I had to reposition due to the uphill grade. The third pull was the one πŸ‘ŒπŸ½. The neighbors closed there mouths and walked πŸšΆβ€β™‚οΈ away.

I undid my rigging and packed up. The front bumper had a few new signature custom tow points πŸ‘‰ . Onward.

What I got from your story is more about your mother than about your Mav. That was very kind of you to go out of your way to assist. And a fitting tribute to your mother on Mother's Day for raising you up right.

If that's a tremor impressive since they are only rated to tow 2000 lbs.that camper must have weighed at least 6000 lbs!

This is the way!

I seriously haven't gone 6 months of my life without a roadside assist or tow in some way. Most breakdowns happen close to home, sometimes it's just they need a gallon of gas, sometimes water. Other times it's a tow or a ride to a parts store. Unless I am late for something I never pass a vehicle with it's hood up. Maybe if there is a already another vehicle there with tools out and a capable look on their face. Even then, a simple slow down, and a "y'all got this?" goes along way for people spirits in a crisis and for their faith in humanity. So doesn't waking up to reading this thread on a Monday morning.

Tremor reigns!

It is but you should see the way strangers go out of the way to help people on the roadside in impoverished countries. You might have a ox team and a 3 wheeled motorcycle showing up trying to pull a truck like that.

Great job! Not many people are willing to be the good Samaritan, especially if it mean taxing their vehicle. Some of us are willing to do what needs to be done, ramifications be damned.
As others have said, the world would be a better place if more people were willing to get involved in being part of the solution vs. onlookers.
