At least every week since I first purchased the Mav, I have been pulled over by interested fans! The old, middle aged and youth have all questioned me about the vehicle. I mean...its awesome, but get your own already!!

I think this truck gets the same amount of attention as my previous Jaguar F-Type. People really like it!

Well then, my 443 wait isn't nearly 686. I ordered Nov 8th, 2021, which I felt was almost too late to the party. The cut off was 11/14/21. That was really the cut off date for the original Maverick "deal", base engine Hybrid. Pricing and options have bumped it up a lot, but it's still likely a value in the long term. Hope you get a fat private offer for waiting. I got $2,750 off msrp.

I got the max private offer they gave for the FY23 rollovers, but I would have considered giving up a thousand or so if it would have knocked six months off of how long I've been waiting. Best case scenario, I might get my truck a week or two after the two year anniversary of putting down my deposit.

I've had my XL for just over a week now and have been approached three times with questions. In each case the big question was whether it really got over 40mpg? I really couldn't say, but now one tank in and it appears to yes, even better!

I've had a few people ask me what I thought of it and I'm happy to tell them. I'm 6'4" and around 240 lbs. and have no problem with comfort and that seems to surprise most. Better yet is the MPG. Its easy to get high numbers as long as you drive like your in a drivers ed or fuel crisis (1970's) film. They look at me incredulously when I tell or show them this...

These are two lane rural highway miles.

The first week I had My Desert cactus hybrid lariat I was gassing up and a brand new Toyota Tacoma pulled up with almost the same color. He said I had a nice truck, but I couldn’t tow anything. I told him he was driving a taco. We both agreed we like tacos so we consider it a tie as he only gets around 22 miles a gallon and when I showed him my display showing, I was running the day at 49. He was impressed.

Actually, that’s not a bad idea. I don’t know about asking for the money that you could take it to car shows we do them once a month in town.

Yesterday, I had pulled into a parking spot at a shopping complex to drop off a package at UPS, and the person I was next to seems like they were sitting in their vehicle and waiting. I get back a few minutes later and am about to pull out when movement at the edge of my vision catches my attention. The gentleman in the vehicle next to me was waving his arms to get my attention. When I look over he points at my truck and gives me a big thumbs up and an ok gesture.

A few days after we brought it home, someone in a mav was driving past. He stopped, backed up,asked if I like mine as much as he did his own then left. One neighbor also yelled I like your truck. That's been it.
