I also have a Lariat, 22, that is bare bones except for blind spot monitor. No bear bones thank you very much. Bear bones would be too much to bear, but just barely!!!🐻 But bear with me; My wife's Camry has it and I like it.

With decades of using plain vanilla cruise control, I’m still happy with just that and not the adaptive type. Not a fan of lane keeping either, but of course they are all good safety features if you like them.

I'm not a fan of ACC and I loved how my XLT Lux was able to add lane keep assist while maintaining traditional cruise control.

For the life of me I don't understand why FoMoCo doesn't offer a Cold Weather Package option for those in cold climates. And then they even went and removed the heated wiper feature.

However, even here in SoCal, I use the heated seats and steering wheel in winter when my garage is in the high 30's and low 40F. The Lariat ActiveX seat material feels colder than fabric.

Not being a fan of cruise, I seldom use it. My 22 EB did not have the Lux Pkg so no ACC and I didn't miss it. My 24 hybrid Lariat has it but I am nervous using it in stop and go traffic.

The only time I recently used cruise was driving a rental car from New Orleans to Pensacola on the I-10. Lots of flat and boring pavement.

I have come to see ACC as a safety feature for sure but I definitely think it should be selectable. ACC is standard on all levels of the Cross but I also understand that making it standard adds cost, which many may not prefer. It takes a bit to get used to as well or at least it was for me. All this said based on MY 24 and the way it options out I might have just done the XLT because I just don’t need all the other heated features.

I’m with ya on the cold weather package. I don’t use ACC in stop and go because it’s hard for me to trust it. I Only use it on the open highway.

I opted for the Lariat Luxury Package on y XLT, but didn't get the ACC or Lane Assist. Wish I had. I could use the ACC, and my wife could use the LA if or when she ever wants to drive it. She has both on her Toyota, and relies on them daily.

I barely use the heated seats but the adaptive cruise and heated steering wheel were lines in the sand for me. So, I just bit the bullet on the rest of the Lux package.
Yeah that heated steering wheel is s game changer- Never had one before now mandatory :)

So I have had my 23 Lariat hybrid almost a year now and I absolutely love it with zero issues. The one thing I regret is not having ACC, but I didn’t need everything else that came with the lux package at that time.

We have ACC on our Corolla Cross and it is fantastic! This coming from a guy who swore I didn't need no stinkin ACC. Should be standard on a Lariat as it was on our XSE Cross. Is it standard on the MY24 now?
It's on the lariat lux but I'm not sure if that was standard or it was part of adding lux

When I ordered my 23 ACC was an available option only if you ordered the Luxury pack. I just got the Copilot 360 option which did not require lux pack.

24 has no Lariat lux. It's standard. And the great part with the Lariat, you can chose ACC or traditional cruise in the dash screen.

There is no lux package on the Lariat in 2024. All the things that were in the old lux package are now standard in 24.
