Depending on what size tire, you may not need to do anything. The outside diameter can be the same if you just get lariat size over the xl/xlt size since it goes from 65 series to 60 series (online tire shopping can show what plus size can be done to stay the same - like a sponsor here discount tire or tirerack).

Check out my Ultimate Forscan Spreadsheet ! Look for "Adjust OEM Tire Size". you can change to one of the 4 factory options easily. There is a way to set up custom tire diameter too but it is a bit more experimental!

I removed it as it causes DTCs that cannot be removed easily! I didn't want anyone to get unremovable DTC codes. I can add it back as it does work but it does cause DTCs. It is the same procedure on the Bronco Forscan Spreadsheets.
