Both side give plenty of room to drop the wire. I bought a t harness from Crutchfield, not sure exactly model, but can probably find it if ya wanna dm me. I spliced in that harness, and also a JL LOC for RCA leads to the amp. My morels tweeters were just a smidge too big to snap in, but have been doing carbon fiber, so just made a whole new "grill" and surface mounted.Awesome.....thanks. were you able to drop down new wire on the driver side dash tweeter easily too? Where on the oem front speaker wire does the tweeter wire connect to the front door speaker wire? Did the Morel tweeters just drop into the oem tweeter location or was there alot of modifications needed? Thanks
That is awesome. You did exactly what I plan on doing but I plan on using ABS plastic. I'm sorry but I don't know how to DM you directly....please advise that process. Measure the sound decibels at level 20. Take it from a guy with hearing aids.Anyone else experience sound quality issues when you turn your volume past 20? When I do so, my front speakers cut in and out.
so, what did you do? without that harness you can't use your amp(s) unless you do a lot of splicing.I’m using a basic harness from plugnplaykits.com
Emailed the company for advice. Hopefully he has a solution. Otherwise I'm back to the drawing board.

I have the b&o system with a kicker key 500.1 amp and 8" Alpine r2 sub. it can play to 30 (max) distortion free and hits about 109dB.Measure the sound decibels at level 20. Take it from a guy with hearing aids.
I performed the old “IT trick” lol. I unplugged it and then plugged it back in. I’m wondering if I had a line pinched or something. In any case, I no longer have this issue.so, what did you do? without that harness you can't use your amp(s) unless you do a lot of splicing.
my first guess is that your gain isn't set properly but I don't know what amps you have, and with a key series, it's about impossible to set the gain wrong unless you turn it up after the DSP auto setup is done.

I don't listen that loud very often or very long. but I'm in the 15 to 20 range daily and that around 88-92 dB depending on the song.
so you only have a sub amp and the front doors and dash tweeters are stock with no amp?I performed the old “IT trick” lol. I unplugged it and then plugged it back in. I’m wondering if I had a line pinched or something. In any case, I no longer have this issue.
As of now, yes. Have speakers on the way.so you only have a sub amp and the front doors and dash tweeters are stock with no amp?
I highly recommend an amp for the front. Kicker key 200.4 would do nicely. As of now, yes. Have speakers on the way.
