Anyone else experience sound quality issues when you turn your volume past 20? When I do so, my front speakers cut in and out.

The stock speakers are trash. but they’re not related to my current problem. The issue was the plug and play harness for my amp. I removed it and the issue went away.Replace speakers if you want to listen at high volume.
What plug and play harness were you using? Did you find the reason it was causing the issues? The stock speakers are trash. but they’re not related to my current problem. The issue was the plug and play harness for my amp. I removed it and the issue went away.
I’m using a basic harness from plugnplaykits.comWhat plug and play harness were you using? Did you find the reason it was causing the issues?
Interesting. I'm about to start my audio upgrade. I have a kenwood kac-m1814 4 channel amp that I'm gonna use to power my speakers. I saw that hoel company offers a plug and play harness as does a company named LC something or other. My system is gonna be a basic one.....components up front and 4's in the rear all powered by that kenwood amp. I'm just trying to figure out how hard of an install it will be installing the dash tweeters.I’m using a basic harness from plugnplaykits.com
Emailed the company for advice. Hopefully he has a solution. Otherwise I'm back to the drawing board.

Haha I agree, I think 12 is max for meOver 20?? I’ve never went over 10 I think that’s plenty loud enough. You guys are bumpin those speakers lol
The dash tweets aren't that bad. Remove the grill, AND the a pillar trim, it has a tab that locks into the grill. The tweeters themselves have 3 tabs that just need to be pushed open a bit and they pop out. I dropped new wire down the hole for the tweeters. Installed the passive crossovers behind the dash. You can access that by dropping the glove box. Running Morel separates up front. Put Morel 4" coaxial in rear just for fill. Infinity 5 channel amp that also feeds the 2 JL subs under the back seat.Interesting. I'm about to start my audio upgrade. Awesome.....thanks. were you able to drop down new wire on the driver side dash tweeter easily too? Where on the oem front speaker wire does the tweeter wire connect to the front door speaker wire? Did the Morel tweeters just drop into the oem tweeter location or was there alot of modifications needed? ThanksThe dash tweets aren't that bad. This looks so sick. I’m sure it sounds even better. Installed an 8 in the back. But my hybrid model prevents the addition of another. Great work! The dash tweets aren't that bad.
