Hey everyone!

Super excited to be apart of this community, I've had my Mav 8 months now and loving it. Finally looking to make some modifications, have a tonneau picked out (BAKflip G2) and debating the LineX liner... Besides that, anything big or small anyone has added that you love? I use mine as a commuter then looking to take it out on weekend camping trips.

Any insight appreciated, cheers!

Also, super random but I've noticed the Mav makes a strange kind of clicking sound after it's off. Does that have to do with the hybrid engine??

Hello and welcome to MTC. I know you mentioned purchasing it 8 months ago. Still congratulations on your Maverick.

Yes, the symphony of clicks and noises after the truck is off is common on the hybrids. Leaving the fob far away and not touching the doors seems to keep it a LITTLE quieter but it's still weird to hear the truck clicking away hours after it's been driven...

We DEFINITELY LOVE the spray in liner.

We have the cheap OEM tonneau cover, going great almost a year later. Fordpass points covered half the purchase. But we live where it's warm, not sure how well they hold up in the cold areas.

Line-X was a no-brainer. I use the truck for camping and scouts are not very careful with vehicles.

As forums go, this one is the best. I've checked out various forums as I've been interested in certain brands of vehicles, and Maverick Truck Club is awesome, easy to maneuver, and seems to be one of the best organized. There's a lot of good people here, too!

Us Mav owners are the coolest, badass people around! Lol. Hope you're enjoying your truck as much as I am mine!

Lol, missed the best at the beginning. Slowing down now, steady diehards types remain.
The beginning of this forum was like the good ol' days of working in the newspaper industry, where everyone was psychotic, had a flask at their desk, and was smoking and cursing. Good times to be had by all!

Welcome! This is a fun active forum. I have been on a few old car forums and such and even compared to the all encompassing jeepforum, this one has alot of of info, fun stuff, and people coming together.

Thank you! First new car of my life, it's been awesome so far
We are all very excited for you because we know the joy of owning a Maverick not to mention all the cool stuff one can do with it. Check the mods threads to see what others have done and how to do them. Great information from amazing people.
By the way, that clicking you hear is NORMAL stuff for the hybrid. If you got a little freaked out when you first heard it, you're not alone!

Sounds similar to my experience when buying stocks haha, good thing this is a long term hold for me!
