This is quite useful information. I could not understand why my key fob would not open and close the windows on my Lariat. Now i see that it is capable and is not enabled. Thank you.

I did not see any of the trailer options. I am most interested in the trailer braking and the blind spot trailer extension options.

I think someone tried this and it didn’t work. One of the paddle shifter threads I believe.
I tried a BS badlands gsm. It plugs right in and works but when you hit M it puts it in L. So I think but not sure the BS badlands gsm is not needed just someone to figure out the programming to change L to work as M.

It's my understanding that for the PMSS if you set it to 0 it should just disable the speed limiter completely.

Also on the 720-04-01 for Shift Indication, does this mean it will actually display which gear you're in on the Instrument Cluster?
We didn’t do this in as built, just changed IPC to gear shift indicator enabled. It works but only when using the paddle shifters then it goes away when the computer takes over shifts. It will say D6 or D7 for example, this is on an XL cluster, but it works with others too.

I tried a BS badlands gsm. It plugs right in and works but when you hit M it puts it in L. So I think but not sure the BS badlands gsm is not needed just someone to figure out the programming to change L to work as M.
One problem with M is the fact that it is used in addition to a + and - button to change the gear and a dedicated gear display on the dash. It is used as a TOW feature and I believe the bronco and f150 have these or at least options for them. I would think you would have to get a M dial or S dial from a vehicle that already has paddle shifters and manual shifting for a SPORT function. Another problem is there are several codings in the IPC that are Manual Transmission related rather than Manual shift for Auto transmission and it can be confusing.

On the 2023 Ford Escape and the 2024 Escape ST line both have paddle shifters, with the L button still there...

not entirely sure. I need to do some more research about it! lol
I just watched several videos of the escape ST‘s and none of them had paddle shifters on the steering wheel? The ford literature says they are select shift and paddle shift though. Anyway I think the BS badlands would be more congruous to getting the manual mode on a maverick.

side note, it looked like the 24 escape ST has a newly designed air filter housing/intake

Changing the battery charge level in ForScan is missing. This is the only reason that I am using ForScan. Go to BdyCM module configuration and search for Battery Target State of Charge, % to charge the value.
What’s this do exactly?

I changed the default value of the battery of 80% of the battery charge level (Ford wants to have your battery only charged to 80% capacity so you can save a little gas) to 95%. Your battery will last longer by keeping it near 100% charged and you may also avoid battery issues that so many Mav owners are experiencing (many, many threads about this issue).

Is this the 12v or hybrid?
