Out of curiosity, what did you deposit? My dealer asked for $500, which is the most I've seen so far.

Aware, i was asking if he had originally reserved when it was available on the site.

So a note, if you go further you will still generate a lead that can be verified. Click Create your order, select dealer and boom. I just tested it then cleared the test lead.

Shouldnt be, every dealer receives emails almost daily with How to's etc. Human error can occur. Be safe and just ask.

I confirmed my order with Ford C/S some time ago and everything checked out- My dealer is starting to ghost - Anything else I need to do to get things moving along if Ford confirms my already placed in August order ? Thx-

Does a confirmed order email from Ford with my name mean it was verified by ford?! Tried calling my dealership today and I was told allocations mean nothing and of course my order was verified. As if I should have known this all along.
They did take my license and I have the order print out with priority code 10 and everything.

Nothing you can really do. Unfortunate to hear. I guess try and shake em up, should take 10 minutes of their day to check.

You should be fine, if the took a copy of DL and you signed for it. Getting a cold shoulder isnt a welcomed feeling im sure. Some dealers think this is all common knowledge lol. A 10 is the highest a dealer can assign. When your order is previewed by Fords ordering team it should get a 02 priority whether it is scheduled or not.

Signed order sheet at dealer, and took a
copy of DL at that time as well. Still waiting.
Current truck is doing OK. Not in the biggest of hurries!
Still, would be nice to have a known build date!

My dealer asked for a $1,000 deposit.

Is the higher the priority code the better as far as being scheduled for build? Or is a lower priority code better?

My dealer said he would put a priority code on the truck that would get it built as soon as possible.

This is the first time I've ever ordered a new vehicle. I've bought many new Fords in the past but usually it was late in the model year and got great deals on in stock models.

Question:

I did not reserve online. I went to the dealership, paid $500, and placed an order on June 21, 2021.

After leaving several messages for my salesman, he just informed me this week that my build date is the END of November. All he could offer is a delivery will be ‘sometime’ in December.

Is anyone out there waiting six months?
