I will be picking up my hybrid XL with trailer hitch and co-pilot soon. The sticker is 27, 660.00. yours should be $100.00 less and then minus your military discount. Your price should be $27,060.00 after your discount. Nothing more except tax and license.

I got XL Hybrid, copilot 360, hitch receiver at 27,857. and $500 military discount, $500 manager discount. final is 26,857

Don't do the "Owner Protection Plan". You get 3 years 36,000 mile warranty on normal stuff and 8 years 100,000 mile protection on all hybrid parts from the factory.

That's still pretty good- some dealerships are STILL adding on a few thousand in fees or "extras" people don't want.

I'd recommend talking with the dealership you'll pick it up from about a bed liner (if it's not included). We got ours sprayed in from whoever the dealership hires. We paid too much ($800) but it was extremely well done in just a day. They took out the rear storage cubbies, the bed tie downs, and put it all back in after.

Did you have any private offer, rebate....?

I placed a no-deposit phone order with salesperson Jesse Whitlock at Whitson-Morgan Ford in Ozark, Ark., for a '23MY Maverick XL on 9/15/22. Between the order date & delivery date, there was a same-year price increase, which Ford covers with Price Protection. It's a rebate given to the dealer, not the customer; as long as the dealer sells the vehicle to the person who ordered it. It's up to the dealer to pass along Price Protection to the customer. Some do, some don't. Knowing it would take a long time to get a truck order, I asked them before I placed the order if they honored Price Protection and they said yes. They stood by their word - nothing on paper. They also gave me some other dealer discount that I wasn't familiar with and did not question.

OTD price including $129 doc fee: $23,339

It's important to find a dealer you can trust, before you place an order.

Decline the bogus "Owner Protection Plan".
Will they accept the Farm Bureau rebate? If so, sign up for membership in IL for $20 and you'll save $500 off MSRP.
Otherwise prices are really close to what build and price shows for this build.
Consider adding the tow hitch for $100.

I agree with Amy 100 percent. One thing, you are fortunate that your "processing service" is only $300. In Maryland, mine was $500. Contrary to what my dealer said, this fee is NOT required by the state. It is ALLOWED by the state government, up to a maximum, which is $500 in Maryland.

I am working with Military Auto Source to buy a 2024 Maverick Hybrid XL with Co-Pilot 360. They quoted me:

- Hybrid: $1,500
- Co-pilot: $649
- Owner Protection Plan: $2,367 ( 7 years/75000 miles warranty)
- Destination Charge: $1,595
- Delivery Point Processing Service: $300 ( dealer fee : paper work, clean, full gas tank.....)

How can I negotiate down the price?

I’ve seen some comments here and on Reddit that people paid around $23k - $25k OTD (include tax, register, title…).

Get rid of the overpriced warranty! If you need a warranty, get it through Granger for half price. You are not going to negotiate the price otherwise.

How did you find such a price? I am still contacting several dealers near me, 24 Hybrid + trailer hitch option called 28K~31K in Houston Tx.

That's what sticker is. I would not pay a penny over sticker.
