How many miles are you getting on the stock 18" Michelin Primacy tires and what are you replacing them with? Rotating your tires? I have 13K so far.
I have a standard Lariat AWD 4K Eco and use it almost exclusively for highway and rural roads with really no off road use. Want a smooth quiet ride and a more aggressive tire for winter would be nice but don't want the tire noise and hum that the all terrains are going to make. Also noticed I have the crappy small spare.

I have what you have and will replace those with an all season 245/60 R18 alternative soon. Just a bit more tire for ground clearance and comfort on somewhat rougher Mexican roads.

Draw back is the Primacy at standard size is a 26 1/4 lb tire. Most at 245/60 R18 are 32lb tires... So there will be a mpg penalty. Not concernced about torque loss with the bigger size as I have the lower ratio of the 4K tow, so it's quite near spec w/ the overall rpms to distance traveled...

I will probably end up with something similar too...it's too bad all the replacements weigh more than stock. I had a Mazda B2600 decades ago that had Bridgestones poly?? "something like that" on them. Lightest tire I ever owned that you could pick up with your pinky with great treadwear. Not sure why that model went away. I'll probably end up with Michelins at Costco or Sams since I have all black rims (black out package) that they probably can't screw up.

Michelin Defender 2 is what I'm leaning towards. 32lbs they are... Could be worse, the Pirelli Scorpion All Seasons are 37lbs in that size.

I have BAP as well, but we are wet sanding down the machine surfaces on the alloys to expose the machined aluminium again, and painting the remaining flat black a slightly lighter version of Metallic Carbonate Grey. Having the work done here in Álamos so the excessive time and energy prepping does not equate to excessive labor costs.... So, my BAP wheels will look closer to the original 1st Edition form, but with a lighter metallic carbonate grey base color instead of gloss black or flat black.

My concern with the Michelin Defender2 is that they might tramline on Southern California freeways with the rain grooves cut into them.

I like the Falken Wildpeak A/T Trail tires on my 1997 Land Rover Discovery and may put a set on the Maverick to see how they are. I know that it will hurt my gas mileage due to their weight (approx. 31 lbs.). I will go with a slightly larger tire since I will have the Rough Country 2-inch Strut Lift on my 2023 EB AWD in a couple of weeks.

I have 12K miles on my factory Michelins on BAP wheels and they seem to be holding up well.

I switched to 235/60/18 Nokian Outpost APTs which are EV rated and only 28.7lbs. Really liking them so far.

On a Hybrid Lariat:

48k miles on the stock 225/60-R18 Michelins, they'll likely make it to about 65k. Mostly freeway miles.

I intend to put on Yokohama GEOLANDAR® A/T G015 tires next.

I'd like a bit more bite on campgrounds and dirt roads, and these Geolandars seem to be very good if I can believe the reviews, which report great snow and wet traction, and low noise even with tread wear.

I'll stick with the stock 225/60-R18 size and weight on these is listed at just below 30 lbs, tire is rated 104H (!), UTQG rating is 600, so they should have pretty good tread life as reported.

I was thinking of doing something like that to...the BAP messed up on the wheels and they could have done something better than what they did but I wanted the black inside and black seats and glad I went wit it except for the wheels...alto blue color.

My tires are 225/60 R18...are yours the same? Seems like someone had a different stock size on their 18" rims.

Have a '23 Hybrid Lariat w the 18" BAP ... going to put on Michelin 235 / 60 Cross Climate 2 ... the Primacy are really decent stock tires just that the CC2 is among highest rated for rain and snow + 1/2" height gain likely.

My Primacy tires are holding up well too but I do no off roading....so I think it may be a while before I need tires compared to my other cars that get 20-30K tops. I was looking at a 1 inch lift but even that worries me after the issues the Escapes had. I had half shaft issues with my Ecsape at standard height and the Maverick half shafts look like they are even a lower quality product...I guess time will tell in a couple of years. At least my Maverick has no center bearing shaft compared to the early Escapes...and that center shaft bearing would go bad and ruin the drive shaft joint with it...not to mention tranny leaks out of the drive shaft inputs.. I hope Ford has resolved all these issues with the 2.0L Maverick redesigns.

I was on Tirerack and there are a ton of tires in the stock size for this truck. Someone said the tire choice was limited but I don't see that with 50+ tires listed. I'm surprized how much this tire size costs by most of the manufacturers...seems like they should be $150 max per tire.

I have the stock 225/60 R18...

My plan is for 245/60 R18 w/ a 1" lift up front and 3/4" rear (so not quite a leveling kit, but still the lift will favor the front a bit more). Just want the ground clearance for topes (speed bumps) and minor boost in tire size for the baches (potholes) so prevalent in Sonora. I already have the lift kit (4WP) purchased from a member here who has had success with it on other Mavericks .

I do have to be conscious of the extreme road temperatures of Sonora and Arizona and the overall roughness of the road surfaces. So, I will lean towards tires with higher life and longer tread wear.

I concur though, the tires are quite expensive.

8000 on my stock tires on the 2023 Lariat Hybrid. 25 percent highway generally, but of the 8 so far, my first 3200 was picking up the vehicle from a Florida dealer and driving to L.A., then to Tahoe fo some snow. They were great in slush and rain without the snow socks. They are also great on the highway, some jiggle on regular roads in town., but it's a truck. I wouldn't give up the mileage (always near 40 and that long trip x-county was over 37, so a change isn't going to happen.

My 18" Michelins had 10 miles on them. Had them taken off when I picked up the Maverick and the three year old 235/60/R18 Falken Wildpeaks from my Bronco Sport put on. The Falkens are great tires. Good all season on road and light off road and pretty quite. They look good too. Lots of tread left but just bought a new set for Spring as the current set has over 30,000 miles on them. One of the current ones will be used for a full size spare. They're made close to me in Buffalo, NY.
