Would you buy an EV maverick for 25-30k?

Well you did say Netflix so totally reliable. In fact we as people have very little to do with the climate. In fact latest data says we have stabilized and should be heading for the next 240 year cooling cycle.
The earth has warmed and cooled before. Things come and go as that changes with or without humans.

Yes, it has warmed and cold before numerous times. Much longer period of time though. But just because it happened before, without us doesn't mean we can't influence it now. I mean there are a lot of volcanoes going off at one point that affected the environment. I would think if we set off like 3,000 nuclear bombs today that would probably affect the environment. I'll go by just what I know from science class and everyone has their own opinion. I do know that CO2 is a greenhouse gas. A lot of The problem actually comes from cows. To be honest. There are more cows on this earth producing methane that are here just for human consumption. Then there are every other animal on the planet combined.

This has some well respected climatologists in it. Been covered by John stosell also. But watch with a grain of salt also. But seems to be made with true experts in the field unlike most things done by Netflix.

I wouldn’t say I’m paranoid just the fact that have you ever tried to dispute your paper company? It’s almost impossible to get anywhere with them. And you don’t have a second option. When BP by me decide to charge more for fuel the next supplier is cheaper I can go to them. Health competition for sales. Power companies have non of that. Plus check your bill. I have no choice but to get billed almost $10 a month for low income.
Why should I have to pay that bill also. It’s bad enough I’m paying a lot of them to grow pot now with the power they get for free. But now I gotta pay for them to drive around also. No thanks.
I’m not paranoid thinking they are taking over but it definitely puts the consumer at a great disadvantage having them in charge of the power to travel. Maybe your date was not as bad for covid lockdown as ours but I want no part of them being able to force me to do anything.

Well I mean if you don't want the government to tell you anything you have to start your own country. They force us to pay taxes force us to wear clothes when we walk down the street.... I agree there is a balance to it but I don't think the government trying to encourage electric cars is a way to make you more dependent on your electric company as a part of a conspiracy.. I ran the numbers with the amount of driving I do if I had an EV the amount it would add to my bill in the winter would be maybe 10%. As for competition, where I live, we can choose suppliers. There's a whole list of them. We can't choose the distribution because obviously there's only one set of wires but there is a lot of competition in our electrical market.

Well than you also know that life thrives with c02 because it feeds plants. Historical everytime co2 has raised its followed by and explosion of life which is good. Second vastly more people die every year from cold than warm. So if indeed we are warming. The earth I’ll gladly take credit for saving a lot of life by leaving my truck idle all day.

Well, in some ways I agree they are telling us what to do too much but would you want them to legalize heroin because that's them telling you what you can do? Sell alcohol to 10-year-olds? Allow 12-year-olds to drive? I mean in my experience people are for or against something being legal based on whether or not they agree with it usually. Drive whatever speed you want etc
