Just looked inside the gas door, that's a no go. The bed cap option looks better than the door. Maybe on the back of the cab? Still kind of sticks out though.

I’m sure mine (MY23) is wired. Are the stick ons battery powered? How often do the batteries have to be changed? If it works for you, it doesn't really matter what people think!
If you go full service gas station the poor attendant is gonna ask for your code for the gas cap!
My husband wanted a key pad, but both of us are disappointed in the stick on ones. They just look cheap.![]()
I don't even have the truck yet. I recall reading that the batteries can't be changed. When it's dead, it's dead. Buy a new one. Not sure that is true.I’m sure mine (MY23) is wired. Are the stick ons battery powered? How often do the batteries have to be changed?
If mine hadn’t come installed, I wouldn’t want it. Since it did, I have come to appreciate it. At first I thought I would never use it, no we I can’t imagine not having it.I don't even have the truck yet. I recall reading that the batteries can't be changed. When it's dead, it's dead. The keypad was my husbands one request on our order. When he saw it was a cheap looking chunk of plastic stuck on with double stick tape he wasn't impressed. Our work truck (Super Duty) has one, and it lights up so you can see it at night. It also looks 100x better.
I took a screen shot of the ugly sticky one offered from Ford now to compare with the one on our work truck.

Should I ever find $200 extra in my SS check, I would consider a keypad and mount it where yours is. Great idea, thanks for sharing!I put mine on the plastic trim of the upper part of the C-Pillar... The plastic here is a bit recessed relative to the metal of the C-Pillar... Just thought there was less likelihood I would get any aerodynamic lift... plus the plastic is really flat at this point, giving very solid attachment with no kicked up ends...

I wondered how it was working? I like it there better than on the paint, but so far I haven't found any reviews on it. I REALLY miss my keypad!Like many, I was frustrated to learn that Ford had done away with the driver's side door keypad coming standard on the Maverick for the '24 model year. I had a MY24 on order, and since I go for runs and hikes quite often, the keypad was pretty important to me. When I took delivery of my Maverick, I ordered the keypad as a dealer-installed option, however after looking online, I saw that dealerships were typically putting the now-horizontal keypad directly over the driver's door handle, on the paint of the vehicle. I thought that didn't look great, so I asked my dealer to program the keypad but leave it unstuck so I can choose its location. I settled on adhering it to the bedcap over the fuel door to blend it in with the black, like how the vertical one on the 22's and 23's do. Let me know what y'all think! I think this is a much better look for the MY24 for those who want the keypad. Photos below:

Have to have it programmed by Ford. If you order one make you select install then its only $24 online. They have a special tool they have to use to sync it with your truck the first time.Do these have to be programmed by Ford? Or is there a key learn sequence like Chevy and Toyota have? If they start offering them aftermarket, I may be interested, but I agree, it looks quite tacky for $200
Mine in center of 2 windows, eye level the BEST FEATURE I HAVE, JUST LOVE LOVE LOVE MY KEYPAD!!!!Like many, I was frustrated to learn that Ford had done away with the driver's side door keypad coming standard on the Maverick for the '24 model year. They should have never removed it from the pillar. If the F150 has it, it must be a solid feature. The Maverick and Ranger should have it standard. I wouldn’t imagine it costs Ford a lot of money to include.IDK, to me anywhere you stick that thing is going to look ugly/weird. It’s a shame ford removed that feature on MY24. If you had an EB I’d put it inside the gas filler door, you just push to open those but understand hybrids don’t
