Not an enthusiast, you're right. I'll pocket my thousands of dollars in gas savings and bolt ons...maybe I'll use it to take the kids to Disney.

You're argument is hilarious irony, btw..."I can tell you don't care about enthusiast specs"...proceeds to spout off enthusiast specs. 🤣

Have fun with your EB!
I'm not arguing with you I was simply informing you that a 1.2 second difference in a 0-60 time is greater than you gave it credit for.

I also did not say "I can tell you don't care about enthusiast specs" so please stop putting words in my mouth.

You're a cheery one....ok ...."I can tell you're not an enthusiast" ... Proceeds to tell non-enthusiast about enthusiast things. Better? 🙄

You were the one who brought up the 0-60 time. I was just trying to let you know that a 1.2 second difference is greater than you think it is.

In practice... Maybe less than you think. According to this, the hybrid is faster than the Ecoboost between 45-65... But that's ok. Enjoy your Ecoboost and I'll enjoy my hybrid.

So now we are comparing 45-65 times......bro your changing the goal posts here. Although I did find the 0-60 times in your links interesting.

According to your links the hybrid does 0-60 in 7.6 seconds while the ecoboost manages a 5.9 second 0-60. An even greater difference in 0-60 times than in the Consumer Reports collage that the OP posted.

Man...Ecoboost owners...tough crowd. Enjoy your Ecoboost. I'm not trying to poop on anyone's 0-60 times. Have fun with that.

I think after 14 months I’ve found my rattle that I thought was in the dash. I’m going to really check it out tomorrow on the roughest roads I can find. If I’m correct it was my garage door opener clipped to the sun visor.

How is the gas engine only getting 23mpg, that seems really low.
That's actually about what I'm getting in my lifted 22 AWD FX4.

Did they come to you, or did you go to the dealer just for that?
Went to the dealer. However, after the huge f-up in coordinating the airbag replacement recall many months ago, they came and picked up my Mav AND dropped it back off for me.

I can tell you aren't much of an enthusiast because the difference of 1.2 seconds between the hybrid and ecoboosts 0-60 times is insane. Like almost a 60 HP difference. You don't gain 60 HP with simple bolt ons like a cat back, CAI kit, and a tune.
On the nosey... Drive an 2.0 EcoBoost Mav after a Hybrid and you'll feel the difference
