Removing the Under Chassis Skirting

My Mav (AWD XLT Ecoboost) is built/shipped and on the way.
I would like to take it to the Rustproofing/Undercoating Company, as soon as I get it.
To prep for undercoating, I plan on removing three groups of the Under Chassis skirts, that I list below.

Thus, I would like to understand what "Retainer Clips" I might want to buy, in case the factory ones get damage during the removal and re-install of these Chassis skirts.

1) The 4 Wheel-Well skirts....I think these have two style clips, one is pictured below, the other I need help with??
2) The Front Engine plate....this has (15) T-30 Torx bits, that screw into a metal clip, Do I need the metal clip??
3) The three bottom Skirting Wind plates.....two on pass side, one on driver side. Not sure what holds these in place??

I think this is one of the Wheel Well Skirt Clips??
It is a Ford W708633-S300 Retainer Clip

Any insight or suggestions on all the various clips used on these Mav Skirts, is greatly appreciated.

2 kinds. I bought a cheap kit from Ali or Temu, has a match to the smaller one but not larger.

2 original ones are pictured side by side.

Plus a 7 mm socket and 10 mm for the middle felts otherwise just a screwdriver and or panel tool.if you are going to remove the lower rocker plastics that takes a pair of channel locks twist 45 degrees and use a small screwdriver to pull down ,clip stays with the rocker plastic then pull plastic cover outward away from vehicle with the doors open. There is all 3 types of plastic retainers , 3 or 4 of the fat plug style and 2 of the prong style at bottom corners and the rest are the 2 piece pin style.

undercoating traps moisture. causes more rust than it helps prevent.

fluid film or similar is much much better.

i honestly wouldnt waste my time or money on any coatings. i live in the midwest. rust happens after 7-10 years no matter what. especially on gm and dodge products. films just mildly slow it down.

I undercoated a Jeep wrangler with Zebart and every year took it back for the annual inspection. They kept spraying undercoating on the frame. Well they plugged the drainage holes in the frame and the frame rusted from inside out. Zebart would not stand behind their work.

I've removed the factory clips many many times. You won't break them. Just use any clip puller to pull the inner clip out first. I spray them with a little wd40 first.

I'm in the same boat as you. 2 weeks might have maverick, I've rust proofed 3 vehicles and in ten years on each one never had rust and I don't go back every year. I'm going to drop the tire and engine fabric and let them do the rest. I'll look at the other skirting when it comes. Good luck with yours

I thinking with all the skirting on the Mav, time to get ready to take on those nasty retainer clips that gives everyone a hard time.

I am fairly confident that this clip is a good replacement.....
