Latest 2024 Maverick Production Key Commodity Constraints + Total Retail Unscheduled Orders (1/29/24)

There are currently 19,841 total retail unscheduled orders as of 1/29/24. An increase of +463 retails in USOB.

Retail USOB: Is the current mix of retail orders in the unscheduled order bank (USOB) at the time the report was run. The report only looks at orders that are “clean”, meaning they do not have a compatibility error, material hold or on 99 priority code.

Not scheduled yet and don't expect to see my vehicle delivered until June at the earliest. At that point I would expect Ford to have announced the changes for the 2025 Maverick given when order banks opened up last year and when production starts. We've also heard rumors and have seen a few camo'd Mavericks running around, suggesting that this might be the mid-cycle refresh for the Mav.

If that's the case then I will probably give up my MY24 order and put in an order for MY25. Demand has fallen off a cliff for the Maverick (only a couple hundred orders a week) and vehicles in general. So getting a MY25 will probably be much quicker than it was in MY24 or any prior year. I would also imagine dealers will be much more willing to take whatever order they can get and drop all the 'no X-Plan', '$100 deposit', etc. they've been shoveling for the past few years.

If Ford actually scheduled last week, then it was all stock. Orders moved in the wrong direction.

Remember when the tow hitch, full size spare, and 17" standard tires were constraints? Remember when the hybrid and XL's were constrained?

My dealer called me and have my identical build that a customer walked away from. Going to go take it for a spin. I do know that sitting in a Lariat is more comfortable than my XL. XL is fine but the seats are better in the Lariat. This could be good since I've had 4 sorry emails.

Seats in the Lariat are freezing in cold weather and burning hot in hot weather. The seat material used in the XL and XLT does not have these issues. With the Lariat there are a lot of days that you need to warm up the vehicle for 10 minutes just to get the interior more bearable, wasting a lot of fuel. With the heated seats and steering wheel on the XLT Lux package you just get in and drive.
