Twracing, if you deselect the "Dual" on the passengers control, do both temps continue to display but it changes the passenger side temp to the drivers side value, or does the passenger side temp just go blank?

I have the dual control on my Lariat too, but without the temps on the control, and wondered if turning off the "Dual" syncronized both sides or just turned off the passengers side altogther. Which would seem really dumb. 🤔

:ROFLMAO:
There's no actual difference in the control system, just that the temps are displayed on the knob. That's pretty cool and I'd like to have that in my Mav, but I don't think it's worth the money to make it happen.

Everyone has their own opinion on this. Could I have lived without it, sure. My wife gave me some Amazon and EBay gift cards for Xmas so I could play. And play I will.

Plenty of pics of the module including the doner car on the EBay listing. Even it’s working odometer and door and engine stickers. The retail on the part is over $500.
That’s how I got mine lol

I like the digital readout on the knobs. Looks nice. But I find the dual displays on the screen to be more than adequate.

Make sure to match up CCUs with your powertrain. In other words, if yours is a hybrid, donor vehicle must be also.

Reminder that it doesn't have to be. Only if you want it to be plug and play. Otherwise if you find a good deal on a unit from a vehicle with a different powertrain you'll need to do some Forscan magic to get it working correctly.

Got mine off a Escape on Ebay for 100$.

XLT with Lux. So nice to have the readout, especially with Android auto on.

Yeah, losing the ability to see what it is set to while using Android Auto is annoying.

do you remember who you got it thru? And what part number did you get. I’ve got the same xlt/lux and I’m looking to change.

Quite a few on ebay. I transferred the little truck recirculating button and the mirror heater switch from the Maverick unit to the new unit.

Fro some reason, Ford stopped using the digital controls for 23 model year.
RE: "Stopped using digital..." My 2022 Lariat EB, the 89,101 Mav built in 2022, did not have dual digital display on the knobs - the temp was only displayed on the screen.

QUESTION - Did it require using FORscan to get the new controls to work properly or was it plug and play? Another write up w/video about 18 months ago used the original Mav controls - he paid over $300 for them - and required using FORscan to complete the setup.

The 22's built later in the year don't have them either, mine was built in June 2022 and I took possession at the end of July and I don't have digital controls on my XLT Lux, covid parts shortages were to blame I believe
