The knobs due come apart and can easily be swapped out. Pay attention as you pull them apart as they will totally come apart in all pieces. But they do go back together and work as intended. Reassembled the rotary switch using your swapped parts and then reinsert it back into your Maverick assembly. Swap the circuit card and plug it the rotary cable and you should be done. This should eliminate your need to reprogram. Good luck. I really like look and function of my knob set.

Can elaborate on how the knobs come off? I was trying for a bit and I can get to to separate a little but cant actually remove the knob. Is there a trick like pull harder I just didn't want to break anything.

Just that i pulled them apart from the back and not from the front. The mechanism will pull apart in pieces so just pay attention and it will all go back together.

Ok I will take apart my original again this coming week and see if I just need to give it a little more effort

I bought it at a scrapyard in Spain, from a FOCUS 4. But, it didn't work well until I changed this number for the original one.

Unpopular opinion: I don't want the digital readout controls, I don't like them. The font doesn't match anything, the color doesn't match anything, and I don't see a point to having another set of temp readings. Not only does the screen tell me the temp, I don't care what the temp settings are anyway. Doesn't matter to me if it's 67 or 68 as long as I'm comfortable, likewise - make it warmer or cooler until I'm comfortable regardless of what the numbers say. Just me...

I just did the swap out. I have a 2024 Lariat, Used one that had the digital readout on the dials from a 2021 Escape 2.0L EcoBoost. Hardest thing to do was switch out the Mirror Button and Truck Recirc Button. I HATED having to touch the knob to see what the temp was set to. To each their own. I like the readout on the knobs for Driver and Passenger. Biggest thing for me was if I had the AC on in the AM and had it set to 75 (Using AC to cut the Friggen Humidity down) and then getting back in the afternoon (Temp up over 80 outside) Driving down the road I get very lil cooling and have to touch to see what I had it set to......... Now I can see at a glance what it was set to. and I don't need to touch to see what it was set at in the afternoon. Again; to each their own but for $70.00 I am happy.

No, But then again I ensured that I purchased one from a 2021 Ford Escape NON Hybrid. Verified with the seller. It was literally plug and play. Make sure when you are looking on Ebay or where ever that you get one that is for the correct engine type and dual zone or single zone.
