Looking to put in an order for an XL hybrid maverick. The extras im asking for are 360 copilot package, keyless entry keypad, and trailer hitch receiver.

Ford site says 28.5k on the build, but ive been reading and see people have previously paid for similar trucks 24k, 25k, 27k. What's a reasonable price I should pay out the door for this truck? Also reasonable deposit prices? I've never bought new so I'm new to dealerships but have heard horror stories.

Thanks, Colin.

Sounds like you're including the $645 Acquisition Fee from the Ford builder page which only matters if you're leasing. So barring any base price increases $27,885 + Taxes/fees. Save an extra $500 maybe if you sign up for Farm Bureau or qualify for other rebates.

Welcome to the Forum! That is the same build as mine (- keyless entry pad) scheduled to be built 2/19. I just printed my Farm Bureau certificate for this one (used the discount on the 2 Mav's in my photo as well). It's well worth the $20 investment. I believe Illinois Farm Bureau is the least expensive to join, and anyone from any state can join.
I agree with what Darnon said about the price.
Good Luck!

Click 'Customize Payment' and switch it to Finance.
Good to know it, my local dealer try to place order including the Acquisition Fee , so evil they are:eek:

The customize payment font is so small, hard to find it, I think Ford made it on purpose:mad:

Now the base price for a xl is 23,815 + 1500 for hybrid +full size spare tire 115+ trailer hitch receiver 100 +destination & delivery 1595 Total 27,125 plus tax and tag. Still worth the money in my option.

And don't forget DMV registration, title, tires fee, doc fee, and wait time.

no longer the value hybrid vehicle it once was
If you take resale value into account, I disagree.
The Hybrid Maverick is still one of, if not the, lowest priced Hybrid currently available in the US automarket and still holding onto great resale value.

Because you can't get them on demand. Once the order bank clears and dealer stock starts filling the resale should drop to something more realistic.

To put it another way, the resale value right now is the highest it will ever be. It can only go down from here (which isn't a bad thing!).

I've got the same thing ordered minus the keyless.. (cheaper to do it once you get it) 27,200 But one dealer ( on here.. search if you know how..) I didn't like after i called said they are offering 1000's off No idea if they play games with that like add on junk. Good luck though...
