Maverick work trucks in the wild

While doing a Maverick search for dealers in central Florida, I only encountered one dealer with a sizable inventory. All base white XL hybrids. Apparently they are concentrating on commercial fleet sales.

My local electric company uses white Mavs. What's funny about it is they also use my other truck which is a Tacoma Utility model. I saw 2 of them parked together working on a power line but couldn't get a pic.

Saw some when I was at Rocky Mountain National Park. Had one at entry points and some at the Alpine Visitor Center that had a topper on them that had ropes rescue and stokes baskets equipment in them

A local auto parts place uses at least one. They also use a Kia Soul. Those places typically buy the cheapest vehicles they can fine - cost is clearly a factor. But the mav gives the ability to haul larger parts like solid axels which you can't stuff into a soul.

Haven't been able to spot whether it's a hybrid or not but I suspect it is, as total cost of ownership is a thing and they do a lot of stop and go driving locally so a hybrid would shine. They certainly wouldn't need additional luxury features or AWD so it's almost certainly a hybrid XL.

ServPro office next to the Herrs potato chip factory has a guy in a wrapped Maverick tooling around. Now that I know where it's parked, maybe I can snap a photo one day.

Too many Mavericks. i live in a VERY small township in NE Ohio. there must be over two dozen Mavs in the area. i have seen all colors, trims and one even has some really nice wheels. no longer are they a novelty in this area.

I use the Ford Maverick for my pest control company. Please believe, I’m changing trucks. This truck has been nothing but a pain in the ass. Axles warped twice and last week the transmission went out. Gears and Metal grinding, absolute piece of trash. I’m getting rid of this pile, immediately!!!

Axles warped??? What does that even mean? Like you bent the shafts? Or did the cage holding the balls in the CV joint warp and let the axle come apart?

Yes. I took my truck in for a, shake between 20-60 only while pushing the gas. I was told the axles were warped. It’s happened twice. I’m guessing shitty Chinese parts.

Here in Santa Rosa CA, Local Carquest Auto parts store uses a pair of white hybrid Mav’s.
No logos or wrap.

Replaced their small Transit Connect(?) vans.
