5 at a time is required for fleet status. There is an electric shop in AnnArbor Michigan with several. They have a deep red skin on them.
The parts dealer in Grayling Mi has one for delivery.
They are getting more popular as commercial vehicles. Maybe if you order two or three at the same time they are easier to acquire?
Or having 15+ vehicles registered (doesn't have to be Fords). You also don't necessarily need to order 5, just have registered 5 new vehicles (again, any make) in this year or the past calendar year.5 at a time is required for fleet status.
True, I was thinking of special paint. To get A Yellow F450, my Tow truck dealer had to order 5 trucks in that color on his fleet account. Luckily, he had 2 other guys wanting yellow, and built 2 stock units. I guess that is a way to get an Eruption Green Maverick. Sounds like a lot of hassle just to get one custom color truck. I'd think it'd be easier just to get it wrapped, especially if one was likely going to get it company signaged anyways and on just a cab+chassis build.True, I was thinking of special paint. Not really. It was way cheaper in paint. At that time it was $350 per truck, vs about $3,000-$4,000 per truck and tow body to wrap. And some areas on the bed would be impossible to wrap, Like the boom. That would still require paint. Lettering was about $150, and another $150 for the HD flame decals.Sounds like a lot of hassle just to get one custom color truck.
