Take them. The Falken's are really good tires that alone cost more than that. The Continentals are the cheapest tires Ford could put on that will hold air.

Yep those wheels/tires are an option and I asked for them on my build. My truck isn’t here yet, but I am not a fan of the black wheels that come standard with the FX4 package. The $795 wheel package is your only option to get bright wheels with the FX4, and yes those Falkens are a bonus. I say pay for them and see how you like them. I’m sure you could sell them or even ask the dealer to swap them for a wheel/tire set from another Maverick plus some cash. I can promise you they’d slap them on one of the dealer stock Mavericks and up charge $1500 for them.

Seems like a no brainer to take the upgraded tires and wheels to me then
Yeah, I didn't realize the tires were upgraded as well.

Yeah, Thanks, I didn't realized the tires are upgraded as well.

Did you compare the window sticker to your DORA? Selling wheels on the related forum on this site happens on a regular basis.

No, Unfortunately, I didn't receive a copy of it. At time of order I provided a copy of my driver's licence, but I wasn't required to put a deposit down. Maybe I'll request a copy now.

They're included in the XLT luxury package, the window sticker just breaks everything out.
What he said. They come with Lux package.

Is that a Canadian market thing? In the USA they definitely don't come with the XLT lux package

Agree. That wheel/tire combo shows to be stand-alone option on the XLT and Lariat trims here in the US. It's does not show as being "standard" on any package, and in fact requires FX4 OR 4K Towing packages before you can select it.

I like the wheels and looking for a set. If you or anyone else on the forum wants to sell me a set let me know. Happy to swap for regular XLT wheels and compensate you for the difference in value.

I’m
Ordered truck from salesperson at dealership on 9/18/23; notified truck built on 12/13/23. I promptly looked up the window sticker and noticed the option for 17” Machined-face Carbonized Gray painted Aluminum Wheels for $795. I double checked if it was on the original order and it was not. I'm not opposed to the look of the wheel, but I do not want to pay for it. I'm wondering what recourse do I have with the dealership. Should I insist that they eat the costs of the wheel. Or barter for service or other options. I'm not sure what can be done this late in the purchasing process. I really don't want to walk away from the deal when it finally comes in, but I will if not handled satisfactorily.
that’s up to the dealer.

Maybe they have another mav on the lot with lesser wheels and tires and someone who ordered who would like your wheels/tires - and would be willing to pay the difference, you'd end up with whatever they had on theirs and you may or may not want them. Who knows how and why this happens, you can ask if see what they have to say. You probably don't have much leverage, there's some profit margin involved withe the premium wheels/tires but that $ mostly goes to Ford and not the dealer. I'd push something- at least a reasonable explanation - but don't walk away from this.

Maybe you can get them to take it off the (ADM-additional dealer markup) that they will likely hit you with when you go to pick it up. Ordered vehicles do not always match your actual order.
