Shipping Delays

Hello everyone, I have been reading posts on this site for the last 9 months. The information learned has been very helpful as I have been awaiting delivery of my 2024 Lariat Eco.My truck has been finished since Dec 16 th Ford ( customer service) told me today estimated ship date is Mid Feb, was Jan 12. Has anybody else had similar responses? I was told delay could be because of rail concerns/ immigration issues coming out of Mexico.

Been waiting for 10 days for Ford to load my built truck on the train. I have heard there is a bottleneck for loading.

Mine's been finished since the 12th after starting on November 16th. I think a bunch of other posts refuted the immigration angle and point more towards boatloads of Mavs that were stored onsite at the plant while Ford figured out the fix for the turn signal problem. Now that it's sorted, it seems like they're working through the held trucks while immediately shipping just-finished ones, akin to what happens to travellers when a bunch of flights get cancelled.

My truck went in production on 11/16, built on 12/16 and the turn signal recall went out two days after on 12/18. The wait continues... Gonna take another month or more because of this stupid bullshit

Seems to be a bit of randomness going on in Hermosillo. Here's my time line, makes one wonder how trucks are prioritized for build and shipment. If this goes as did my 2023 XLT it should arrive into Albuquerque via Phoenix in a few days. Note that the truck has a couple of constraint items - BAP & hybrid drive train.

Mine was built on 12/16 as well. When I called Ford the new estimated ship date was Feb 14th, (Happy Valentine Day) right !!!! Was Jan 12th - Jan 24th

Looks like most of our Mavericks at the plant have been delayed too. They are all now showing February as well.

Mine was built 12/23 and shipped 12/26.

One thing that might be possible - and to be clear this is only my own personal theory based on news reports - is that trucks that will cross the border at Eagle Pass TX are delayed. Apparently DHS closed that customs office to reassign the employees to other border tasks. (Was in the news a week or two ago). My truck will probably cross at Tucson as I am in Southern California, which AFAIK is still open.

Mine was built on 12/26/23. Shows shipped on 12/27/23. Original delivery date was 01/13 thru 01/28. Contacted Ford Chat, unable to get rail info. Updated delivery date is now 01/21 thru 01/27/24.

Mine is just the opposite. Built date of 12/12/23, Shipped 12/14/23.
Up until yesterday (28th) the estimated Delivery was 1/08/2024 to 1/21/2024.
When it changed to 12/27/2023 to 1/09/2024.

Nov. No movement yet. Chat still says delivery to Houston early Jan.
