Console buttons removal

So… I bought a Wendy’s frosty tag and thought it wld be a great idea to put it in the card slot by the console buttons (drive mode, brake hold). So it fell all the way in. Can that section of buttons pry out or do I have to remove the whole console? I’m nervous messing with the highly scratchable plastics.

Can you put some tape on the end of a (disposable) credit card, sticky side facing down, slide it down to stick to the tag and pull it back out?

It can be worth it if you frequent Wendy's alot as you can get a small frosty for free on each visit.

You will be able to buy a 2024 Frosty Tag in early 2024 so I wouldn't bother retrieving it.

They're selling 2024 tags now. That's likely what he's trying to retrieve. For me, it wouldn't be worth the hassle of disassembling the console button cover, while risking damage, to retrieve a $3 replaceable tag. Heck, my local Wendy’s locations never ask to see my tag when I order a Jr. Frosty in the drive thru and tell them I have the tag.
