Hole in tail light lens... does the whole assembly have to be replaced?

Does the whole assembly have to be replaced?

Yes, not bad at all. I'm glad they kept the sensors out of the lights, unlike lots of new vehicles. Cheaper than the dealer, too.

Standard at ford was about 228$ blacked out one probably a little more .just work with the parts counter they are not that bad for parts discount and then there is no shipping issues.
Had it in 3 days.

Two screws in tailgate opening and pull rearward pops right out.

I just replaced my left rear taillight and the best price was on E-Bay for $239 + tax. My wife felt bad and paid for it. Very nice Wife!

I thought $50 was bad in the late eighties when I had to replace my Foxbody taillight for similar....

Of course! Wouldn't you rather pay $400 for a complete COMPONENT than 75 cents for a glass lens?
