That’s the look I’m going for.

Theres a fine line between classy and gaudy.
I have some white trim parts coming.
I hope the whole package doesn’t cross that line.

The last white vehicle I had was a 1984 VW GTI convertable.
I put the same width stripe over the entire rear lenses, as well as the front and side markers. The spacing of the stripes was equal to the stripe width so there was a lot of it! From 50’ or more the car almost looked like it didn’t have exterior lights at all, just a solid body. However, the lenses were flat with only one crease so the striping was completely parallel. That wouldn’t look right with the 3dimensional curves on the Maverick tails.

They still lit up brightly though.

I wouldn’t do it now, too much liability, need all the warning you can give to the idiot tailgaters.
