Finally found the neighborhood A51 so here's some side by sides of that next to my Azure Gray for y'all.

There is always some crazy person in the neighborhood that has A51.

I ordered an Azure Gray Maverick, sight unseen. Afterwards, when dropping off some paperwork at the dealer, I saw an Azure Gray F-150.

My impressions (yours may vary considerably):

(1) It's very battleship gray. I know it looks very blue in photos and video. But in real life, it's barely blue. It's just gray.

(2) The metallic is very, very subtle. You have to be a foot away to see it.

(3) I think it will coordinate with the interior plastics better than any of the other colors, although I won't know that for sure until I see mine in person.

Must've been a mistake. I know it's available since 1.) I ordered a '24 in this color and 2.) It's still available on their online configurator.

Having an Area 51 myself, I can safely say that these colors are what I thought they were gonna be, very similar. I do like the metallic hue in the new color but I wouldn't pay an extra $500 for a color that's too similar to an existing color that was no charge. If I'm paying extra, I want it to be totally different. In the case of my latest order, I paid the extra $495 for Hot Pepper Red because it's worth it in my eyes. A radical departure. Azure Grey, you're nice but not $495 nice....

Error in the random Ford dealer’s site I pulled it from, my bad for not realizing. Point is we’re still a far cry from a rainbow lol

The problem with Azure Gray for me is that it is metallic, while A51 is not. I like the non-metallic colors, which is why my 24 will be Cactus Gray (also non-metallic). (I would have preferred A51, but alas...)

Alto Blue is my still my favorite color!

Any color that replaces A51 gets my vote. I really don't like it at all. Looks like a primer coat to me that someone forgot to finish the paint job on.

nice job with the pics. the 2 colors are close to each other but they're definitely not the same.
i still hope Ford will bring back Alto blue and give us some more vibrant colors. for instance some kind of Forest or Emerald green would be welcome.
