Depends on the temperature .......rattles pops squeaks. . . . ... Happen in the Maverick....... I tried pushing pulling punching the dash .....nothing works
Minor creaks and pops yes. It's an inexpensive vehicle with a lot of hard plastics, but chronic continuous buzzing whn driving if is not really acceptable. I should not have to keep the radio on all the time just to drown it out. Sometimes you want to drive with that off.

Back in the late 1980s I owned a 1988 Dodge Daytona Shelby with a factory modified C&C T top conversion. Probably not the best thing to do to a unibody vehicle. It would creak and groan slightly when driving up an uneven driveway from the body slightly twisting, but that's honestly nothing compared to a constant loud buzzing eminating from the right side of the dash when driving on a slightly rough road.

If the XLT has the sunglasses holder above the rear view mirror check it. Mine rattles And it can be very annoying
The map light switch on mine was rattling. Plastic piece behind the switch that engages with a roller ball is flimsy and rattles over rough pavement. Fixed it using a tiny piece of foam tape. It was driving me crazy.

I have 2023 XLT Hybrid and love it except for one thing. Truck has a rattle coming from passenger side that I cannot locate. Anyone experience something similar. Would appreciate any ideas.
Same here .Mine was built in July-hybrid.....Mine happens even on smooth road sometimes... Tired of hearing excuse of the trucks cheap price for inferior quality....Guess that saying is true. " Fix or repair daily."

My speaker covers rattle as they warp and change shape throughout the year. No joke. Sometimes they are flush and other times the shape warps and they are uneven. The plastic in this vehicle is one of my biggest complaints. Hate to hear the symphony from the interior once it gets cold in northern ohio..........

Hi there, Dave. This rattling concern doesn’t sound like something we want you to experience with your Maverick. Could you please send us a PM with your VIN and the name and location of your Ford dealer? To send a private message, just click on our username and select "Start Conversation". I'd be happy to look into how I can assist you on my end.

FoMoCo , If y'all want to find all the rattles in the pre production mules, all you need to do is copy the worst roads we have in Texas, and drive on em for about 10,000 miles. Any rattle these things could get, you will find. Our roads are repaved by the government contractors spraying tar down and covering it with gravel, then letting the cars smash it down by driving over it.

Heavy gage black craft felt at hobby lobby. Roll tightly longways with spray glue into rolls. Stuff into dash between it and windshield with ends butted together. I only pushed it far enough that it was even with the black at the bottom of the windshield. I started with the middle of the dash and worked towards the ends. I used a wooden paint stir stick. 98% of the noise is gone. On really rough roads you will get a faint little bit of noise, but that will happen with any car or truck.

Heres your fix Ford Motor Company. Try it out on some of your test mules on washboard roads

Thanks for this idea! I think it has solved my issue as well.

Last week I took inspiration from some other posts and shoved some folded papers into the dash and windshield to see if that would help. It was noticeably better throughout the week. I wanted a cleaner looking solution and stumbled on your post which inspired me to buy some felt. I just put it in and drove it down the road to test it out. It is almost completely silent now and I am very happy with it.

I want to test it out on a cold morning as that seems to be the noisiest situation for me. Any experience with cold mornings on your end yet?

Mine seemed noisier in the summer. Who knows.

He has made his profit from you and just wishes to not see you again. Short term businessman.

if it sounds like the A pillar it’s likely coming from the windshield alignment pins. Mine has the same clicking noise but mixed with about 7 different dash rattles.
I call mine The Rattle Trap........Gonna dump it in spring....

I had one rattle briefly. I discovered I had failed to secure the R sun visor after I had slid it over and it was touching the center rear view mirror mount. It sounded like it was coming from the right A pillar area. It took me about a minute to solve. Otherwise no issues .

The swivel on my driver side sunvisor is the culprit and when I pull down on it slightly it goes away.

My passenger side rattle was the inner sunvisor clip. It was loose and rattled terribly.

Fix was to disassemble, re-mount outer clip to under headliner plastic mounting point and then install screw and tighten. The alignment pins on the outer clip must line-up first otherwise it will not get tight/feel loose and rattle. (I think the rattle was caused by the loose plastic inner mounting point against the metal mount on the roof.)

I also have a slight buzz when driving over uneven pavement from the dashboard in the area of the glovebox which I an still trying to locate.
