I'm new to the Maverick (pick up a Lariat hybrid today). There is a dealer in Columbus OH who has a 2024 Maverick listed on their site as pre-sold. Under the specs is this item "2.5L I4 SMPI Hybrid Turbocharged DOHC 16V LEV3-ULEV50 250hp" Is that option really available?

I don't think so. The hybrid is a lean burn engine, with less fuel in the cylinder, there's nothing for the turbo to boost for power.

Dude! Hybrids have had more than their fair share of problems as it is a fFord Ward to add a turbo charger to a hybrid set up don’t even get me started… like Tony says forget about it.

No. Avoid that dealer. He's either a clueless idiot or a fraudster.
Most of that text on dealers' websites populates automatically (by VIN). Highly unlikely that is is something that someone chose to put on their. Just an error in the inventory feed and/or website.

Hybrid af ratio is the same as the turbo, 14.7:1. Air fuel ratio will go rich under heavy throttle conditions.

Seriously, look at the amount of complaint posts on this forum. Not even close!!!
Well. To be fair.

Not many hybrids are stranding people. So reliability is HIGH.

Just the number of "glitches" is also high.

I haven’t read of many Ecoboosts stranding people. Doesn’t mean it’s not happening though.
Seems like Ecoboosters spend more time arguing about the best octane and how much to tow or not tow.
Cold air and cat backs discussions can get pretty lively.

Mild issues resolved like wiring harnesses vs Ecoboost mavericks getting transmission replacements and having gas leak into the engine oil. You're right, it's not even close, the hybrid issues aren't even really issues. The ecoboosts are having major powertrain components replaced.
