Be cool if they put the 2.3l in it but yea mostly just tuned 2.0
I don't believe Ford has ever paired the 2.3 with the 8F35 so that is unlikely. Even the tune will be mild at best due to the 8F35's limited power rating.

Would most likely be available on XLT too. XLT is under demand.
We can hope!
AWD PHEV and ACC for a reasonable price - that'd get me outta my XL

PHEV on Escape is about $5K more. Making the PHEV AWD could make sense, that could bring in $7K extra on each.

I mean why focus on scaling the current production for hybird and ecoboost models, nope that is too hard. Ford's solution? Let's just introduce more trims/models to create a 2-3 year backlog!
From Ford's perspective that's a very good thing. Why wouldn't they do it?

I just like the idea of it. Beats FWD
Well I get that. I think they should be AWD standard equipment but I guess Fiord disagrees. I live in AZ and just don’t think where we live justifies the price increase but that’s me.

You joke, but if someone made a maverick minivan where the back half was a removable cap and had removable seats to convert into a bed... 🎉

If an ST comes out and it's worth mine is GONE!

It would still have to be AWD though.

And I think most of us want to see more than anything - a Hybrid AWD like the Escapes have offered for a LONG time. It's long overdue.

Tremor Hybrid? Just shut up and take my money.
