Sorry my answer was so short, but I didn't wanna tell you something wrong etc. Was gonna recommend watching a video or something.

No worries, again appreciate the posts! So nice for the passenger to be able to search up music on the USB now, was definitely a pet peeve before.

Thought I was being particularly thick in not being able to find the relevant PID's prior to the Forscan update.

Cheers.

Appreciate it Bill, have done the other mods with Forscan. Needed an update for this one though.

Cheers.
Well, it is here for others who might not know FORscan. It actually took me a bit of time messing around before I figured out the basics.

Got my OBDLink Ex talking to the laptop, but it won't connect to the mav. Any suggestions? Have everything plugged in and ignition on.

The USB connection between my OBDlink and computer can be sensitive. Perhaps try holding the cable end at the computer while cycling the key on then pressing the connect button?

Cheers.

Hopefully you've figured out that you need to click on the little Connect button at the lower left of the screen.

Yes. That's when the note comes up to check ignition and try again. I'm going to try a different adapter, may have a defective one. Also I know someone a bit away and may see if his setup works on my truck.

OK, I sent back the OBDLink and got some kind of clone from Amazon. Believe it or not worked right out of the bag. Did the double honk delete and restored all drive modes. The ACM module for the Lux Lariat ONL had a as-built line and I have no clue and won't play until I get good info. APIM had something that looked promising but no cigar. I'll keep looking and when (if) successful will post.
Thanks for all the help.

I just tried this today, no joy :( I went back into Forscan to make sure it did set to disable and it did.
2023 lariat hybrid.
Any insight on why? I'm just trying to browse the USB music while moving and the Browse button is grayed out.

That's odd that yours didn't have a non as built version. Do you have the latest release? Gotta be careful in as built as it used coding

I'll double check, but that's what worked for me
I have the Band O I wonder if that's why? There is also that "driver restriction strategy" maybe I'll mess with that. ??

Here is a spreadsheet I found for the "MY 2023 Maverick Spreadsheets". I'm going to take a look via forscan at my 2022 Lux Lariat and compare. I don't know this guy or how accurate the spreadsheet is. May be risky. Again, I'll be cruising with ACC and lane centering so risks are minimal for me. Use your own judgement.

did you find anything more than the TCU module at that link? All I see is TCU
