That's what a warranty, and extended warranty are for. I use mine all the time and will continue to!
Exactly I bought 10 years hundred thousand zero deductible added on the options for 2500 bucks. Granger. Got it in my FordPass in 48 hours It's covered for 10 years and I can transfer it. It's a great deal.

Well..... probably just back 2 doors, maybe back as well. Will have to see what the shop has to say about doing it.
You stated you were 'swapping out' something....

???

The back 2 doors already have tint but there is a ton of heat coming through so was thinking of putting the ceramic tint back there as well.

OK, so you aren't 'swapping out' anything as you stated, you are simply having your back door windows tinted like hundreds of Forum members have done.

And despite your original post "Then I realized there is not a drop of tint anywhere on this thing. Is tint not an option? Who orders a fully loaded truck with no tint??? ", after (4) pages you now realize the back door and rear glass is tinted to industry standards....

If industry standard means the truck heats up like a toaster oven then perhaps the standards are way to low.

LOL, the stock tinted windows are tinted similarly to other OEMs tint.

Do you expect OEMs to have state, region, and country-specific tints?

If your state allows front and side window tints, then you're in a very backwards state. Maybe consider moving to more normal places, where the cops can actually see what you're doing when you get stopped. There is also the huge problem in that dark tint makes it impossible to actually see properly at night, or even at twilight.

I bought a truck in Florida. Doesn't seem crazy to expect a tint to keep out the heat in Florida.

From what I've read, tint can block the heat and still be clear.

If you want non-OEM tint do exactly what the other ~1000 people on this site have done, have it tinted.

Having OEM manufactures tint by state/region and country's geography is absurd.

This truck was ordered by someone living in Florida, not just a random truck build in Mexico to be ship to God knows what State. So no, it is not absurd to think it would have the appropriate tint, both for Florida law regarding how dark but also for keeping out heat.

Almost like the Federal NHTSA has a maximum tint limit that applies to how they can be built regardless of state.

Standard No. 205 requires 70% light transmittance in all windows in passenger vehicles. Multipurpose passenger vehicles, motor homes, and trucks are required to have 70% light transmittance in the windshield and windows to the immediate right and left o f the driver and the rearmost windows if used for driving visibility.
At one point in the early 90's the NHTSA even tried interpreting it as that any business installing window tint below that was breaking regulations regardless of state law and tried citing some installers in Florida, but ultimately lost that suit.

It's unreasonable and absurd to think that any OEM would build vehicle with U.S. state-specific window tints.. LOLLL

As you are in Florida, your truck would have automatically been built with the heater delete package, and non-All Season tires, right?

Do what the other ~1000 people on this Forum do, have your truck tinted the way you want....

I would have ordered power folding mirrors on my Maverick AND wife's Jeep if offered. While both fit in our garage with room to spare, I have found in my old age to take nothing for granted and embrace all the help one can get. :ROFLMAO: If power folding mirrors buy me 3-4 inches each side my odds just increased exponentially. LOL.
I'm still waiting for my Mav, in the meanwhile we have a 2017 Cherokee Latitude and a 2020 Cherokee Trailhawk. (She's a little miffed that I'm not getting her another Cherokee and driving her leftovers this time.) She will put hers on the center line so I have to be careful. She pulls in on the right so I back in on the left, no room to open either passenger door. And I guess her mirror could clip mine if she backed out first. But that's why they fold both directions. You may have a point, my friend.
