Finally arrived!!! Hot Pepper Red XLT finally arrived this week after 12 months. Have an X Plan Friends and Neighbors and the dealer told me the pricing was higher using the X Plan. Sounds strange. What's the value of having the plan if it's not going to help the pricing. (Tried to search X plan for the answer on this forum, but couldn't find anything.)

Thanks in advance for input.

Sounds like you can do just as good using the Farm Bureau discount for the same amount.

I did use the farm bureau discount. Can both not be applied?

When I checked in with Ford chat they were not sure and said to check with the dealer. Either way with the private offer and Farm Burear rebates I should get about 3K off MSRP on the 24 Lariat Hybrid.

FordDealer Invoice - (0.4% * Dealer Invoice) + Administration Fee*

* $275

There isn't much difference between MSRP and invoice on Mavericks. The 2024 Lariat may have a little more with the former options now in the base price. My 2023 Lariat x plan savings was less then the invoice my dealer was charging.

Dealers do not have to accept x plans and it excludes most other offers/rebates.

I believe it is up to the dealer but in most cases they will not allow you to stack discounts. The biggest benefit of X plan is it limits dealer doc fees. So if your dealer has a low doc fee like say $200 then it would be better to take the farm bureau discount.

I would've saved under $300. I used Farm bureau instead.

I ordered/bought my 2023 with X-Plan. It is a loaded Lariat with BAP. X-Plan saved me exactly $865, but more than that, it dropped my dealer's $599 DOC fee to the $100 cap. Thus X-Plan saved me $1364 and they gave me no bs add-ons.

I ordered my yet-to-arrive 2024 with X-plan (similar loaded Lariat with BAP) and X-plan saved me only $570 PLUS the $499 DOC fee reduction...so it is only worth $1069 off this year.

This. On my 2023 Tremor XLT + Lux I netted about $890 before doc fees. My dealer was only $250 on doc fees so I did not see much of a savings there.

Regardless - my dealer ended up giving me price protection way back to October 2021 because they did not COVP my order and I didn't get the original (and major) private offer.

So I got my X-Plan price dated back to October 2021 and they also included the private offer even though I never qualified for it.

Not everyone can be as fortunate to deal with a salesman like Justin Ellis and a sales department like Germain Ford.

I saved over $1200 via X-Plan, mainly because my dealer charged a very high doc fee that got reduced to 99.

HI I had no idea of the X-plan, I ordered without it.
So far I have the $500 Farm Bureau of Florida and the private offer of $2500
But I may be stuck with a $1000 dealer fee, from what I see in the dealer's site
How do you sign into the X-plan?

You have to be eligible for it usually through a friend/neighbor or an affiliated organization of some sort. Usually, membership in the groups requires 90 days before purchase, so no late minute signups. The dealer also has to be willing to accept the X-plan. It is an all or nothing thing too and the program has rules. They either will take it with all of the rules or not. Some will take it for custom orders, and from what I understand very few will take it for on the lot vehicles. If a Maverick has a 5k markup the dealer wont surrender 5k in profit for it because you showed up with the X-plan and they have no obligation to do so.
