Softer paint? Please explain, thanks

Cactus grey because that is the closest color to my limestone driveway!Went BACK to Oxford White. I like the Velocity Blue but I think the Oxford White is easier to keep clean and detail.
Wow, messed up, should have said cactus gray is a "softer" paint (in color) than the harder (in reflectivity) of white!Cactus grey because that is the closest color to my limestone driveway!
The Carbonized Gray is awesome. I prefer the FX4 black painted, but the steel wheels will look good on the gray too. Get what you want.I went to Chapman in Horsham today. They just got in a stock XLT in Area 51, and a retail ordered XL in Carbonized Gray. I currently have on order, not yet scheduled, an XLT hybrid in Velocity Blue. My dilemma....the Carbonized Gray with the XL steelies is very appealing. It looked better then the Area 51 XLT. Debating on changing my order, again. Not sure if anybody on this forum ordered that truck from Chapman, but it looks great.
I think the Cyber Orange would look better with some cool aftermarket graphics. If you're going to be out there, might as well be way out there, and go all the way.I'll try and help. Cyber Orange. You only live once. White is boring. But I'm a bit biased.
I went from Velocity Blue to Area 51, then Carbonized Gray then to Oxford White where I'm going to stay. It's really hard to decide, but in videos and pics I've seen the white really has a great contrast with the black trim imho.I went from Oxford White to Carbonized Gray to Area51 and now back at Oxford White. I hope it gets scheduled soon so I can stop obsessing over it. Got tired of most of the other colors looking all different under different lighting conditions. So “work truck white” it is as it looks white in all lighting!Should look classy with my Lariat/Lux/FX4/4K/360 build. My weekend vehicle is white, is 15 years old and still looks great so I know what to expect.
I resemble that. Not quite as bad but pretty close. While active duty Air Force I never passed any of the regular color tests. They put me in a dark room for 10 minutes. I was measured out 10 Feet away from the colors. They flashed 100 colors at me and I got 2 correct, White and Black. The grading was 1 to 3. The technician said IF I could give you a 4 I'd give you a 5. Needless to say within 3 months of that test they kicked me off the flight line to a different job.Ok, so I’m Didj, and I’m color blind. In fact, I’m considered a “strong duetan,”which basically means I have trouble seeing different shades of colors. Navy and black…can’t tell a difference, white and pink are the same color, tans and light greens are indistinguishable to my eyes. I like bright blues because they “smack me in the face”, and I know what they look like. I have seen the cactus grey recently and I LOVE it but my wife has noticed that when I see Oxford white I think it’s cactus gray. So, area 51, cyber orange, and apparently cactus gray… I have no idea what they really look like. So, velocity blue it is!
The steeliness do look sweet but you should stick with the XLT for the extra options/ features, trust me you won’t regret it.I went to Chapman in Horsham today. They were afraid of sending you up with "to shoot the other color down" order!I resemble that. Not quite as bad but pretty close. So I know your pain. I went with Oxford White. I hate it but they didn't offer Yellow.
I thought about it over the weekend, and I am staying with my original order XLT in Velocity Blue. And I agree, I'd regret not getting the extra features. The steeliness do look sweet but you should stick with the XLT for the extra options/ features, trust me you won’t regret it.
I made the switch! Figured since if I've got to wait a few more months for my hybrid I might as well get something fun.I'll try and help. Cyber Orange. You only live once. White is boring. But I'm a bit biased.
