Just for another data point- my current black Gorilla lugs I have rotated tires 10 times on another vehicle I own, using an impact to loosen the lugs and spin them back on before torquing with a torque wrench. I use a protective socket like I posted earlier in this thread. No rust, just a little wear of the black finish on the sharp edges of the lugs- nothing noticable unless you are really looking for it. Probably could have minimized it going by hand only, but I don't consider it excessive wear.Did you use an impact wrench?
I would bet most people probably don't rotate tires 10 times over the life of the vehicle (I do every 5k miles), so I'd say the Gorilla brand is good quality, in my opinion.
