Giving up on hybrid order. Options?

I ordered my 2023 Hybrid XLT in Oct. 2022, and there is no ETA on the truck. I put $1000 down. My old truck is on its last legs, and I may have to buy ANYTHING at all, and abandon the Maverick order.

Is there anything I can do to transfer the sales agreement to someone else, maybe for a small profit?

I've seen a few listing like this on FB Marketplace/Kijiji. So it must be possibly.
It's so weird and stupid because I ordered a MY24 Hybrid on Aug 04, and already have a build date.

I may be in the same boat if my daughter backs out of her purchase. My wife and I have a 23 rollover scheduled for Oct 23 and a new order scheduled for Oct 30th. Both Lariat Hybrids. Technically the dealer owns the truck. If you purchase then you have to eat the TTL. Would love to hear about others experiences.

I don't think so. That's the purpose of Ford getting a copy of your DL when you ordered it.It was to keep people from ordering 5 also, to keep the dealers from scavenging to customers. Buy it, eat the sales tax and sell it at a profit! Make 3-5k. Only my opine!! Good luck.

13 months to the day my hybrid LARIAT rolled off the assembly line and on to a train bound for dealer. A lariat with every option from lux package and sunroof to trifold, even front fender film. Pick it up next week. Built the last week of 23 production. It can happen. Why one gets built and another not is weird, l agree.

Congrats....The only two factory options we ordered on our 24 Lariat Hybrid were the moon roof and keypad. I do have a room full of goodies for the truck when it arrives. Bed and roof rack, retractible tonneau cover, mud flaps, tail gate lettering and a flat towing package.

We are in Round Rock, TX and ordered the 23 in Sept of 22. The rollover order is scheduled for Oct 23rd and we have the VIN. The new 24 order was ordered in July this year and is scheduled for Oct 30 and we have the VIN. Both Lariat Hybrids with moon roof.

which bed and roof racks did you choose?
same question for the tonneau and mud flaps.
