I see them to check the passenger seat height adjustment in 2 more weeks.
Good luck with that.
I am over 6 ft and a bad back, and I can't get in the passenger seat. The drivers seat on my XLT Hybrid is height adjustable, but not the passernger side.

If you find out that it can be lowered pls PM me!!!

Hi there! Would you send us a private message with your VIN and dealership name and location? I’d like to look into this concern on my end.
I'm kind of having the same problem. Although I've managed to download the update at home once or twice, it just doesn't work. It wouldn't install, and doesn't seem to remember it downloaded, We recently got a new Wi-Fi router at home, and no difference. I tried again today, and couldn't get any download progress. Very frustrating. Our Maverick is from very early prodeuction - we got one from first shipment into Winnipeg! ...so has very early software version. The radio functions and all that works OK. The only glitchiness I get is when Android Auto is plugged in.

I'm coming up on 2 years ownership pretty quick, in another month. Is this a warranty issue?

Download it on a USB

https://www.ford.com/support/sync-maps-updates/

Keep the truck running and disable the 30 minute shut off just in case, but mine updated in under 10 minutes both times I've done it this way in two different FORD's..

Thnx, tried the link, no joy... entered my VIN, and it said no updates available!?
Interesting. You can look for the specific version you have in your settings and compare it to the most recent one if you need to. I never used the VIN checker.

Sorry to hear about your Android Auto issues. It can be very temperamental at times. Everything on the phone up to date too? Go into play store manually and hit your avatar (the circle with your name), then manage apps & devices, then where it says "All apps up to date" press it and force a manual check for updates. Same with the settings on the phone itself for any possible software updates. Just leaving this info just in case. Most phones will do it automatically unless someone specifies otherwise.

The software version on your Maverick SYNC is somewhere in the settings menu lol. I'm not near my truck to double check specifics. Just double check the version it's showing you when you check your VIN is accurate with the one in the vehicle. TBH though... it's not the greatest system especially when paired with Android Auto's issues. It's a budget chipset and the trucks "auto" information stealing... I mean, downloading update garbage is just as temperamental as Android Auto is.

Maybe your Wi-Fi signal is not strong enough in the area your Mav connects? Wireless signals can get blocked and degraded depending on many factors related to the physical layout of a house and/or signal interference
I had this problem with my Mustang but the signal improved when I upgraded my Internet. Problem solved.

Android Auto related... I can't get Coolwalk version to display, no splitscreen. My Samsung A70 is mid level phone, although it and the Android app are updated/current, won't work. That's one reason I want to update the head unit. Phone is probably too old.

Sorry I don't know what Coolwalk is. It shouldn't matter about the phone being older - as long as it has Android Auto on it, the app should display the most current layout. I did update my post with some extra info and my own experience with both Android Auto and this dated SYNC setup they used in our '22's.

I just got in from trying again. I moved the truck really close to the house, it's like 20 feet from the router. Wi-Fi connects fine, 3 times I scan for updates and each time it says up to date!? This has happened repeatedly. Every once in a while it will connect and attempt to download. We have high speed internet. Software version 1.7.2.1

Did you ever figure this out? I am stuck on 1.9 with the same problem. I used to make more progress and actually get a progress bar for downloading, but I’ve never made it past installation. Now I don’t even get a downloading or installing bar, it just loops right back to show me the last time it checked for updates. I’ve never been able to update, this is how I got the car. Frustrating that something as simple as an update is seemingly impossible.

I have tried from my home network and phone hotspot, both with excellent connections and ample bandwidth.

No! I brought the truck in for warranty work, told 'em about the problem - they said they updated it, and they didn't. My radio generally does work OK. However, couple of weeks ago it froze for the first time when using Android Auto, and I did a reset on the head unit that unfroze it.

Our home internet wireless router isn't far from where the truck is parked either. I should try again. I really would like to have it updated - I've never been able to get Android Auto split screen to work, dunno if my phone is too old, or if it's the head unit.
